So this is a Chicago landmark pizza joint/bar, or so I am told. Been around for 50+ years. Mostly pizza on the menu. Flat. Not sure where they buy there pre-frozen crusts but if you can’t do a homemade version, don’t do pizza. The toppings were fantastic. The crust sucked.
Wow the pizza here is true to Chicago style thin crust, arguably the best on the north side!
Great place for dates. I like the food and atmosphere. I usually get Blue Moon.
Love this place so much. A Chicago treasure. The food is so good, the service is top notch, and the atmosphere is everything. Jen Parker and Robby Lew are the best bartenders!!!!
Great vibe, great staff, and the thin crust pizza was good. They serve RC, not Coke or Pepsi. We were very surprised that we could not order Chicago deep dish like you can at the other location. I also enjoyed the Caprese salad. The booth bench needs to be redone, as it is taped and the springs are broken so it is incredibly uncomfortable. Thank you!

If you're expecting something comperable to Gino's East, you won't find it here. Since we were very hungry, we ordered a simple cheese, thin crust, pizza and it took forever to get. The atmosphere is a bar. My boys like milk. They had none. So they ordered iced tea, for which they had no sweetener (including No sugar). Next time we're visiting LUC, we'll be going to the pizza place on the corner, and just buy slices.
The extra star for service is for the extra work by bartender/waiter/server... .
Kid-friendliness: It's a bar, with a large naked lady statue behind the bar.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not easily maneuverable entry, etc.

Great little neighborhood spot in Edgewood. Nice atmosphere and attentive service — they made a recommendation on cooking style based on what we ordered that was obviously well-made because we inhaled our pizza. Their cubed ham is probably the best I've ever had on a pizza. Took the leftovers home, and they reheated beautifully, a sign of quality ingredients. Happy to go back next time I'm in town!

April and Joe were fantastic. Very welcoming felt like I've been coming here for years. Old-fashioned made with bullet was terrific! Pizza was great. Antipasto salad ...meh, just okay. Hit this place up for a genuine taste of how Chicago might once have been. WE HAD FUN!
