I don’t make a habit of writing bad reviews unless my experience was really terrible. Anyway, this review is regarding delivery only. I’ve never eaten at the establishment.
I usually go to the Michigan Ave location when I want Giordano’s and because the pizza is so amazing, I figured why not order from the one closest to me. I’ve ordered through Uber Eats twice from this location and the food’s been good.
I thought hey, this year has been absolutely dreadful. From start to finish, unfortunately. I’m going to end this year on a high note, celebrate the New Year with Giordano’s and a glass of wine. My gut told me not to order anything on New Year’s Eve, that’s just asking for it. But then I thought, nah… It’s just going to be a medium pizza, how bad could that be?
I placed the order over the phone, assuming they had actual delivery drivers. They text me a delivery tracker. It doesn’t say Uber Eats, GrubHub, Door Dash. I’m like okay, Giordano’s has their own tracker. Cool. I watch the driver and he stops at a location for like 15 minutes. There’s no way to contact him or the restaurant through it. They gave me a time when it should arrive. The car is still stuck there and they’re past my estimated delivery time. I call the restaurant to find out what’s up. The guy says their delivery runs through a third party and they drop off food from other restaurants as well. I didn't know that. He offers to call the driver, but I said no. What for? I had no choice but to be patient. But it made me golly happy to know that someone else will be getting their hot food before I get mine. Once the cheese has cooled on pizza, it’s all for nothing.
My food arrives several minutes later, the box isn’t even warm. Cheese is hard and cooled down. I had to pop a couple slices into the air fryer. Not what I’m looking forward to when I’m spending around $30 for a pizza. And to top it all off, it wasn’t even good... No love whatsoever was put into this pie. It’s definitely not leftover material.
I guess I can’t be mad. I should’ve followed my gut. Went with something healthier at home because during holidays, are they really going to give it their all? But hey, a perfect wrap up to a dreadful year.
Moral of the story, never order food during the holidays. They want to be home too.

My family and I went to Giiordanos on Lakeview for a dinner on Friday night. We are so grateful for our Manager/Waiter Luis. I’ve been to many restaurants and the service is one of the most important to me. The service Luis provided to us was incomparable. The attention he provided, his smile his caring and politeness. This is very hard to find today anywhere. Thank you so much for having Luis there we need more like him. I’ll be back soon again and again. 👏👏👏

Love this place. Not a fan of deep-dish pizza. My father orders it from here. I love the thin crust pizza here. And the Rigatoni Bolognese is outstanding. Love the inside of the restaurant. Plenty of seating and the vibe is great. Highly recommend Giordano's.

I've visited Giordano's many times and on different locations. They never disappoint. Their ministroe soup is always super rich and flavorful. I usually have their cheese or sausage deep dish, but changed it up and tried their Margherita pizza. Flipping fantastic with the fresh basil, tomatoes, and cheese. It may be my new go to pie.

Known for deep dish but we got their tavern style and it was really good. We also did the italiano salad,(5/5) which was great and had a ton of meat on it and was huge for two people.
We also did the lasagna with meat sauce which was also good. Their menu has a ton of other things than pizza so worth checking it out.
The pickup was ready right on time and everything was super hot.

Visited the Giordano’s at the Belmont location and left feeling more frustrated than satisfied. The pizza itself was a huge letdown — the bottom crust tasted undercooked, almost like a frozen base that never finished baking. For a place known for deep dish, this was surprising and definitely not what I expected.
Service only made things worse. Our server brought the pizza to the table and walked away without even offering to serve or assist — just left it there for us to manage ourselves. Basic hospitality was missing throughout the visit.
On top of that, the restaurant was uncomfortably cold. Instead of a warm and pleasant atmosphere to enjoy a meal, it felt like sitting in a fridge. The whole time I kept thinking, What kind of service am I even receiving?
Even after all this, I still ended up paying an 18% tip — which honestly felt undeserved given the overall experience.
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this location. I hope they improve their food quality, staff attentiveness, and overall dining comfort, because right now it falls far below expectations.

We walked right in on a Friday night with no wait. We ordered the Meat and More Meat and Bacon BBQ Chicken pizzas. Both were thin crust. Very delicious. Server was courteous and attentive overall. The restaurant was clean and well-kept.

I want to give a huge thank you to Luis for accommodating my party of 20 at the very last minute. He handled everything with professionalism and a great attitude. The service was outstanding, and the food was absolutely delicious. Everyone in our group had a wonderful time. We will definitely be coming back to this location

Just had to share about my first-ever visit to Giordano’s, it was an absolute deep-dish adventure! I've heard so much about Chicago-style pizza, but actually trying it for the first time there was quite the experience.
From the moment I walked in, I felt super welcome. The place is really spacious, which was great, and I was quickly shown to a table. Maddy, my waitress, was an absolute gem – so friendly and helpful while taking my order. She did give me a heads-up that my deep dish would take about 15 minutes, but honestly, it was a bit longer than that, even though it wasn't super busy. But you know what? It was totally worth every minute of the wait for that first bite!
Speaking of great deals, they have this fantastic afternoon offer from 1 PM to 3 PM that you absolutely have to check out. You can snag either a traditional Chicago deep-dish or a personal thin-crust pizza (choose from Cheese, Pepperoni, or Sausage) with a side salad. OR, if you're not in a pizza mood, you can pick any sandwich from their menu and add $3 to get a side. For sides, you've got options like a House Salad, Caesar Salad, Cup of Soup, or even Regular or Parmesan Garlic Fries – all for just $10.99! Seriously, it's a steal.
The vibe in the restaurant was really chill and peaceful, which I loved. It also looks like a fantastic spot if you're planning to bring a bigger group, with plenty of room for everyone.
And the pizza itself? *Chef's kiss!* It was incredibly delicious. I'm already dreaming about going back to try some of their other menu items.
A huge shout-out again to Maddy for her wonderful hospitality throughout my meal!

Pretty cool place, and ticked the box for the deep dish pizza as a tourist who'd always wanted to try one.
Wait took about 45 minutes - but that's standard and they were upfront about that before we ordered so no complaints there. Vibe is cool and starters were nice, admittedly the actual deep dish wasn't my favourite but that's just my preference.

Undeniably the best pizza I’ve had to date. Using only the freshest ingredients, combined with experienced chefs, makes for one mouth watering delicacy; not too mention their exquisite desserts. The staff also serves up exceptional customer service!
