Highly recommend! The new owners, Eric and Kathy, have done an amazing job with Gio’s! I recently started coming here and love it. The vibe is laid back, so welcoming and fun.
The staff is incredibly friendly, their burgers are great, and the drinks selection and service are on point. Exactly the kind of community bar Ravenswood needed. Looking forward to trying brunch and that guava French toast that everyone is talking about!

Even after new ownership this place is still a miss. So sad that after a grand reopening they still can’t get enough staff to operate efficiently. We waited for a server for quite some time. I could tell nobody had their food so I asked the bartender if their kitchen is behind. She said no. Then we overheard another waiter tell a nearby table food is taking 30 minutes. It wasn’t even busy. Our food took over 45 minutes to come. We won’t be coming back.

Love hanging at Gio’s. Food is great, staff is amazing, atmosphere is peak. Biggest complaint though is karaoke both nights of the weekend. It’s a little excessive and too loud to want to come and hang during the entirety of it. One night would be better.
The bartenders are amazing, love the food, and drinks are amazing. However the fact there are two karaoke nights back to back kills me. The nights I can actually go out and hang out with my friends here I can barely hear them talk. I'm not saying get rid of it but maybe have it on a Friday or Saturday not both. Personal preference but it would be so nice to be able to talk.

First time coming to this awesome place. I called beforehand to make sure that the patient area was dog friendly and indeed it was! Major points for that! The staff was so kind from answering the phone to the service we received. Upon arriving, we had Eric be our server. He was very attentive and very kind. The food was great! Drinks were refreshing and I felt so grateful to have been able to include my fur baby. Thanks so much Eric for making us feel at home and being attentive throughout our entire experience. Will definitely be returning. We hope to have Eric be our server again. He went above and beyond despite the hot day.

I live in the neighborhood and I visit this place pretty often. The last time I went, on Thursday night, I had a server that I have not seen before and she was a little unprofessional in my opinion. I forgot her name, I believe it started with a D, but regardless, I have been a server in my past and the way she talked to me and my friends... was unsettling. There was a negative vibe, negative conversation, and I heard her gossiping about her fellow bartenders. Once again, I have been here often enough and I usually have a great time, typically having good simple conversations with the bartenders but this past time left me feeling a little frustrated. I just thought I'd share my experience.
