This was my first time visiting and the food was okay - much better bar food if you’re willing to travel to the NW side. This place charges a bs “cost of living” fee when all the owners have to do is pay their employees a livable wage! Other bars don’t do this - this is illegal and I’m never returning. Food was mediocre for the price

The food is awful, bartenders are friendly enough but they don’t seem to do a good job managing the bar. Seems that they let their patrons do anything. I live in the area and the karaoke is super annoying. Completely flabbergasted at how busy this place gets.I guess people are cool with bad food and cheap drinks, broke college students, neighborhood drunks? Your typical dive bar cliental I guess. If you’re not white I would be weary about going here, gives off weird vibes.

Great service, but the food was only average. Take the super nachos, picture attached. They were definitely not super, especially for the price.

Passed the melanin test with flying colors so we weren't allowed to get complementary chips. Fair, honestly. Burrito I got was good.

If you're looking for a good neighborhood bar, Gio's is the spot! They've got a good atmosphere, good outdoor seating, trivia nights, solid food, and a great local beer selection. The BBQ and the Buffalo Chicken Wrap are the best items on the menu by far! If you're looking for a spot to meet up with friends or just chill at the bar and watch TV, look no further.

Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome here, especially in the patio seating! Even dogs are welcome.

Really great BBQ, but portion size was way too small. New ownership hopefully will change this. Has potential to be a great restaurant. For the cost, the portion size was ridiculous but tasted amazing.

I'm sorry I stopped in. The bartender was "polite", but the glares from the few patrons who were there made me so uncomfortable. I was going to stay for a drink even though we missed the kitchen, but I felt like I was on the wrong side of the tracks so I didn't. Racism is so stupid.

Gios has been my favorite bar for years and has some special memories tied to it. And Jamie is hands down my most favorite bar tender in Ravenswood. He made my time there so special and efficient! I will forever be grateful! Thank you Jamie!

Kind of divey. Nice atmosphere, has karaoke and trivia. Food is pretty overpriced and underwhelming, drinks are good.
