Gios is FANTASTIC. Delightful atmosphere. Top of the line food. Authentic Italian dishes and desserts. The chicken limone was the best dish I ever ate. Stephanie our server was delightful. Very knowledgeable about the menu and super nice n pretty. Try this place, you will not b disappointed. Also, FYI, bring your favorite wine or beer and save big bucks. I give it a 12.😋

Holy cow you guys! This is a lil gem hidden away in a neighborhood. The desserts are insane. The baked cavatelli is like a dream. Busy, but great service.

This is a neighborhood joint with very laid back atmosphere.
The food is plentiful, but really mediocre- canned mushrooms and artichokes, too much buttery sauces and a bit overcooked pasta.
Appetizer portions are ridiculously small.
The environment is very basic and needs lots of tlc.
Virtually not accessible place.
Plenty of parking.

The staff was attentive, but it took a long time to get my sandwich even though the place was nearly empty. The bread was great, as was the olive oil with fresh basil in it (maybe the best I’ve ever had!), but I tried the breaded eggplant sandwich and it was underwhelming. It was thin enough maybe it could also have a veal steak thrown in. Now that would be an instant Chicago classic! Regardless, I’d go again but would order something else.

Nacho, the owner, and his staff, always do an incredible job. Have never had a bad meal there in many years as a customer.
