Girl & the Goat completely exceeded my expectations! very good food
The food was absolutely fantastic! Each bite was bursting with layers of flavor. We tried the pork belly noodles, okonomiyaki, and pancakes, and every dish was exceptional—delicious and expertly prepared. However, my only gripe is that the pancakes were not initially ordered correctly, which led to a 40-45 minute wait before they were served.
The food here was amazing! We came for brunch on Sunday during the end of a three day weekend and this was by far our favorite restaurant. We followed the suggestion of the waiter and ordered two plates per person. This was way too much food, but trying everything made it worth it! The only thing we fully finished was the ooey gooey cinnabiscuit. We loved every plate we ordered though. When back in the area, I will definitely return to try the dinner menu. And also, probably return for brunch.
We had brunch and the waiter couldn't speak English. When you have a complex menu, they should hire staff who is capable of describing the different dishes. I had dinner there several years ago and could not wait to go back, but I would never go back to the brunch.
Amazing evening with great food, drinks and service. Perfect venue for my wife's birthday with a group of friends. They also accommodated having a cake brough in from an outside bakery and served it for us.
The goat has never disappointed! Food, service and atmosphere is all fantastic. The chefs bring an energy to the food and vibrancy to the place. This is one of the top places in Chicago.

Wow. Thank you Kona and mystery man that brought us wine but phenomenal atmosphere and service. She JUMPPED to our table when our mousse landed. And told us all about it.

Blown away. The food was amazing service couldn’t be more impressive. It’s like they magically knew when each dish was done. It was worth every penny and tops out some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. We loved the mussels and brussel sprouts. 4 dishes was perfect for two of us.

Service was great. I was dining alone and the server was very attentive and helpful with it being my first time there. I was pleasantly surprised by the shrimp salad and the different flavors within each dish. I would for sure go back and not miss the hand made apple pies with goat gelato.
