Recently ordered from Uber eats. Had the worst cake and pie I've ever had. Tried to surprise my family with some treats after we were all sick last week. We finally felt better and wanted different items so we got some tonight. I have eaten at this diner several times and I remember the pie being good! This really was terrible. Not just OK. Feels silly that so many dessert options are available. Why get so many, which are clearly not homemade? Seems like a waste. So dry, chemical-ly, and flavorless.

I was going to another place for breakfast this morning while visiting Chicago; I don't know places well. But there was no parking there, and ... I saw plenty of parking near the Golden Apple. So hey, I stopped. Glad I did! VERY friendly, comfortable, nice staff and customers too. The food was fast and delicious. I had a chorizo breakfast burrito, it was big, and full of good stuff, not just a bunch of beans. My waitress was friendly, and quick to refill my coffee. I'm tagging this on Google Maps for the next time I'm in town.

This spot is a treasure with a wonderful classic diner atmosphere. The menu is loaded with delicious breakfast and comfort food favorites, and they don't skimp on the portions! Our coffee was always full, and the food came out perfectly hot and fresh. The entire staff was friendly and efficient, but George was the true gem of the place—his fantastic service made our visit truly memorable. We've found our new go-to for a laid-back and consistently satisfying meal.

Great, old style diner. They have awesome breakfast foods. Had a ham and Swiss panini last time there. Superb! Also our waitress was wonderful, very attentive.

Food was disguisting. Server Nicholas was terrible. Didn’t great us and make sure our meals were satisfactory. Food was bland French toast was orange chicken fajita tasted like it was straight out of a can. They are using already made food from grocery stores and adding their touches to it and selling it. Highly don’t recommend.

Didn’t want to give any stars but you have to in order to leave a review. This place Wasn’t a very welcoming place. They didn’t greet or make sure we were ok at our table. They only greeted white people. Server Nicholas only went to white people to ask if they were ok with their meal. On account of the food tasting very bland like dog food the service was terrible. If you are of color and used to flavorful food and good hospitality this is not the place for you. Highly do not recommend. First impression was terrible. Two meals were almost $100. Ridiculous. Poor poor customer service and food.

Maria was wonderful, so nice and helpful. The food was great and you will definitely leave full. The bathrooms were very clean. The environment is calm and relaxed, the way you want it to be for a 24-hour diner. Great variety.

Very Good breakfast place. I tried gyro meat with eggs grits and pancakes. Everything was very tasty. The portions were very generous. Our waitress was delightful.
