Please update your hours of business so that people aren’t driving across the city to patronize, only to arrive and be told that you all are closed even though online it says you all are open. Thanks!
Musty, quiet, dark, cool, cocktails. Exactly what I wanted.

Great cocktails!
I have always been a huge fan of Lonesome Rose. I have friends who worked there for years and spoke highly of Lonesome Rose and the culture of Land and Sea co. Years of being a patron at Lonesome I have never had anything short of a great experience. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about my first visit to Golden Teardrops, the bar down stairs. When we (all people of color) did not feel welcomed. As soon as we headed down my friend pointed out the offensive shackles on the wall! Why is the decor?! We tried to look beyond and just grab the drink and leave but we’re never even acknowledged. I come from hospitality so understand being the in the weeds but never acknowledged as everyone else (not people of color) were served. We finally realized they did not deserve one more cent from us. Not sure how to go forward with this company but I had to let this be known to other current and future patrons.
Great drinks, not too crowded, hidden gem! We had a great time

Small cozy dim lit bar with a limited menu. Beautiful bar.
All the time I tried to get a frozen cocktail, the machines is not working.

Great drinks and fantabulous atmosphere. I’ve wanted to go since they opened a few years back. Glad me lady and I could make it. I’ll be back...
Sam, Steven, and Miguel [bartenders] really turn this place up!
It's rare when a bar's drink menu is an artform while remaining no nonsense. I'm not one for fruity drinks with a whole orange tree on top of it, so this menu is definitely one for my taste. I had the New York Cocktail and my boyfriend got the Hot Flash (or is it Hot Flashes), and they were both outstanding. After our first round, we decided to get dirty martinis, just because they seemed to have a good handle on the classics. It wasn't the best, and it was a bit too vermouth-y. I should have stuck with the menu, and that's my fault. A couple of housekeeping items to take care of here. It's dark, which is fine if that's what you're looking for. Now I'm talking dark, like Hollister 2005 dark. Also, these drinks do contain a good amount of liquor, so be careful if you're not used to that sort of thing.
The Bamboo drink was ok. Place is dark but quaint. Nice when it's not too crowded.
