My favorite lunch spot when I'm at work!! Without fail I always get the chicken tortilla soup and the kale salad. I devoured the chicken tortilla soup. It's the only reason the photo is not here. I have had many tortilla soup's and let me tell you this one has phenomenal flavor extremely authentic, nice and thick consistency and the chips and chicken breast that they put in It is delicious. My next rave review needs to be about this kale salad. The photo doesn't look that great because I was about to dig in and I had already chopped up all the avocado, but let me tell you the combination of ingredients that they use for this, the kale, the purple cabbage, the purple onion, the pumpkin seeds, green peppers, clementines, avocado slices, and they're yummy champagne vinaigrette dressing makes this one of my favorite salads of all time!!! Highly recommend this place if you're in the downtown area looking for a fresh and tasty lunch option!

This place is one of my favorite lunch spots! I have tried the shrimp po boy (pretty good) and the baja sandwhich. The baja sandwhich is delicious and my go to. I also enjoy their side options, the side of pasta is really tasty, or the side of chip and guac which may be a better bang for your buck. The guac it comes with is also very good and everything tastes very fresh. The service is pretty quick and the staff is welcoming. The place has a very casual vibe to it.

Was my first time ordering from this restaurant. Just wanted a salad . Ordered through grub hub, ordered the la Paz salad and received a salad with no dressing , lettuce , tomatoes and just meat and avocado. The salad was supposed to be to have cilantro lime dressing , pico de gallo, and spicy black beans, and didn't come with any of that ! The salad even had bacon pieces in it which was not supposed to come with the salad. Ruined my lunch .

Very good lunch spot. They offer sandwiches, wraps, and salads. I have tried several of the salads, and they are all pretty good. There are vegetarian and vegan options, salads with meat as well as shrimp. Line moves pretty quickly during the lunch rush. It's close to the river front for sitting outside and enjoying lunch. They also have some limited seating inside as well as on the terrace of the building they are inside of. Overall, it is a great lunch spot.

Stopped in to get a quick bite to eat - sandwich, chips and a drink. After seeing custome after customer, after customer come in - order and leave, I finally re-approached the counter and asked about my order ... she looks at me, and says "Hi - how can I help you?" as if it were the first time she'd seen me. It wasn't busy as it was close to 2pm, and only 4-5 people had come in after me. Finally, the manager steps up -- I guess he thought I was just hanging out with a soda. Eventually, I got my order, an apology and a free cookie, for having to wait 3x as long as normal. Service: See above. But clearly clueless Food: Sandwich was good. Would have been nice to know that my order came with chips, salsa & guac - I wouldn't have ordered more chips. Ambiance: Deli with limited seating Location: the Loop Parking: Street - maybe. Would recommend: Maybe Would re-patronize: Probably not. Too many other options, and it wasn't memorable.

I used to have problems with the timing for online orders here, but since reopening after CV, everything has been really smooth. The food is delicious, especially the tortilla soup and chocolate chip cookies. The portions are generous for the wraps, sandwiches, and salads, and breakfast is also great. The staff here are excellent, and it's clear that the manager cares that the customers have a good experience. Very happy lately, given the convenience that I work in the building.
My office and I absoluety love Goodwins! It is our favorite sandwich shop and go-to lunch spot! Tom and his team have gone above and beyond in getting almost 30 plus orders done in a timely and organized fashion. The delivery is always so smooth and the drivers always ignite extra effort. If you are looking for an easy, fast, and reliable lunch spot with amazing menu options; Goodwin's is THE spot!
