I recently went to goose Island, and it's not the same from back in the day. The batter is totally different I was extremely disappointed and confused. It is the same name, building, menu, even some of the employees, but that is definitely not the same batter that was originally goose Island. If you grew up in Cabrini you know Goose Island,Farmer Brown and Terry's, if you know you know.
shrimp is huge and it's cooked to order so worth the wait. I used to live in Chicago, now I live in Orlando Florida and came all the way here for the shrimp...absolutely good!!

The place is a no-frills spot perfect for grabbing a meal to go and looking forward to the next visit.
