Most excellent beer, atmosphere and our beer tender Hunka-Hunka Burnin’ Love was amazing. We found out his name is Brian, but we like our name better.
The bartenders are absolutely wonderful here and the beer is without a doubt the best in Chicago! Crystal, Kelsey, Brian and Andrew are fantastic and so personable! Even if I have a bad day they make my mood turn around and are always here to ensure that you’re having a fun and happy time! 100/10! Best bar in the city! 🖤
Went to a brewery tour here with my mom who is in a wheel chair. They were so accommodating and wonderful. We had a great experience. Learned a lot and got to drink beer. I would absolutely go again. Chris was funny and informative. Highly recommend
Went in today, 719/2025, sat at bar, I get up to look at their merchandise, go back sit next to my friend at the bar, who has a beer, I sit down, the bartender with pony tail and mustache comes back several times, looks at me multiple times and never once even acknowledges my presence.
The other bartender FINALLY comes over and asks if I want to order something, 2 people walk up a few minutes later and sit next to me, ponytail bartender goes right up to them and takes their order. He NEVER says anything to me, he seemed very indifferent to all the patrons and seemed like he was bothered to be there.
For the life of me, I don't get how people like this get hired to be a bartender, a female bartender shows up who WAY nicer than either and actually asked multiple times how we were doing or if we needed anything.
The ponytail/mustache bartender would be more suitable to work at the DMV or post office, the LAST industry he should be working in is the hospitality industry, he was as inhospitable as you could possibly be.
Incredible experience! Goose Island is an outstanding partner to work with. It’s an honor to sell Goose Island working with a wholesaler in Wisconsin, so my heart is full after being able to come in for a tour and to indulge in the liquid.
Shoutout to Chris, our tour guide. That dude is a rockstar! Thanks to the whole taproom team and John K. as well.
Looking forward to coming back again some day. Cheers!
This is one of the best value attractions in Chicago. The tour is really informative and you get to good sized tasters of some of the beers that Goose Island brew. I highly recommend the doing the brewery tour and then having a few drinks and something to eat in the tap room.

Julian was absolutely the BEST tour guy we ever had and we have done a lot of brewery, wine , and whiskey tours throughout the US and Europe. Hands down the funnest and informative and just downright kindest tour ever. We will definitely come again with my relatives from Europe next time we are in Chicago! Well done Goose Island, well done
Andrew was fantastic on our tour! You won’t find this kind of deal anywhere in the city. The three beers we tried were sooooo good and I don’t even like beers that much. Highly recommend!
Did the Goose Island taproom tour with CHRIS!! Super fun and informative. I would 10/10 recommend!

Absolute amazing experience. We did the tour which cost us 15usd per person and included tasting 3 different beers, already an amazing deal for the money you pay. Chris, our tour guide was very funny and easy to get along with. He deserves a raise for sure, shout out to him. I highly recommend doing the tour if you are visiting Chicago or are a local and trying out the tap room as well!
Kelsey was amazing at the bar and really took care of us on my girlfriend’s early birthday!!!
Btw. Nothing beats a fresh 312!
Tour was amazing! Definitely worth the time and price. Props to our tour guide who was incredibly funny and knowledgeable(Seth Rogan Iykyk)
Popular on saturday, a lot of big groups at the taproom. I think you can do a guided tour. A lot of nice merch available. Several beers are available, but mainly the BA dark beers are good.
Five stars for the beers on offer. One star for the service. It started alright with me opening a tab with a credit card and ordering some beers. But the guy, bouncer style, had some memory issues. Three out of three times he asked for my name to charge the right credit card and two out of three times he brought me another beer than the one I has requested. To be fair, he gave me the beers I didn't ask as a gift, while he poured the ones I had ordered. But things got worse when it became a bit busy. Two more members of staff appeared behind the bar, a guy that looked ready for the lead role in the musical Jesus Christ Super Star and a friendly girl with blue hair. But they spend more time socialising than actually serving customers. I wanted to order some more beer, but the staff member I wanted to ask just sprinted away. Funny, because after waiting a while, we closed our tab with another member of staff, she reappeared and asked me if I wanted to order. Yes, ten minutes ago, but not anymore. The beers were great, but most of the staff seems wanting to be somewhere else. So, we decided not to bother them any longer interrupting their busy night by asking for service and left.
