This place needs a good thorough deep clean!
The food is very good I always order tilapia with jolof rice and cabbage! It is consistently good!
The service is okay I can tell it’s a family owned business and they need help! Some times their children can be all over the place and the older ones can be disconnected but never disrespectful or un professional!

Sometimes the food can take a long time!
It’s worth the wait!

Entering this beautiful cultured restaurant
I felt at home.
I was greeted by the owner/ staff.
The environment was diverse with family's enjoying their food & time at Goree.

My order was taken promptly
And received in a timely manner.

The best experience was the well
Prepared food.
Very, very delicious.

I'll definitely be revisiting this restaurant for...

I had the yassa chicken and my wife had the red snapper fish. Both were excellent and were priced fair. I enjoyed the atmosphere and everything was spiced wonderfully! The bissap was sweet and tasty and the ginger drink was incredibly strong! Will come back next time in Chicago!
