I went to Gotham New York Bagels and Eat in Chicago and honestly, I loved it. The bagels were super fresh, packed with a ton of filling, and had the perfect texture. I ordered the salmon bagel with onion and capers and it was incredible, really delicious. We also tried the cinnamon bagel with cinnamon sugar cream cheese and it was amazing, seriously one of the best I’ve had. They also had some sliced and toasted bagels that were really good too. Every bagel came with a pickle...
Hands down the best bagels in Chicago 😍🥯 If you love New York style bagels, with that perfect crispy texture on the outside and a soft texture on the inside. The cream cheese selection is top notch, I am vegan so I always opt for the vegan scallion cream cheese when I have savory bagels. The service is always amazing, they pay attention to details and really make sure that you have the best experience. Very kind staff and great atmosphere.
Updating my review to see what’s up with the sudden shrink in salmon on the lox and bagel? Been coming here for over a year, almost weekly, both locations! This location has given us less than half of salmon they used to, the past two visits. Today, we had to go fishing for the salmon in our bagels … literally 🤣
