We dined in several months ago, and was sad to see they were temporarily closed today. The pancakes were perfect, and the staff was very friendly. I hope Grand Rising Cafe reopens soon.
I had the jerk chicken with rice and beans, plus cabbage, and everything was full of flavor! The seasoning on the chicken was great, and the sides complemented it so well. I’ll definitely be going back!
AC was not working when we went, but it's a cute corner diner. Salmon cakes were dry. Pancakes were good. Rice smelled like dirty mop water. My eggs were incorrect 2x. I'd try again.
