Bland and overpriced “Asian” food — if you can even call it that. Better off supporting small Asian owned business in Chinatown.

Wasted my time walking 10 min from my hotel. The 9:30 pm is a fake closing time. Manager said it was already closed at 9:10 pm - and didn't want to take customers. Restaurants was barely 20% full. Not sure why she wants to run a restaurant in the Magnificent Mile area.

I ordered wonton soup, liked the wontons but the broth itself lacked flavor. Also ordered crepe with vanilla, turned out different than what I expected (it was crepe layers with vanilla cream - like a cake) and it was heavy for me. I should have clarified it, so my bad:).
The service was good, and the tables were clean too (not sticky:))

Had takeout, wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but not bad. They didn’t give me napkins, and gave me two forks instead of one spoon and a fork.
A Chic and cool vibe at Shanghai Noodles Chicago. Staff very pleasant. Clean, bright and spacious seating. The food was absolutely delicious 😋. The Wonton Soup was tasty and hot.
The Steamed Soup Dumplings were amazing.
I had the Singapore Vermicelli w/out the curry. Wow, the portion was huge, with jumbo shrimps and it was some of the best noodles I have ever had.

Good but not great. The Taiwanese beef noodle soup was more sour than what I expected. The noodles weren’t hand made that I could tell. The sesame chicken was crispy and not too sweet. More like 3.5 stars, leaning toward 3.

A little expensive but to be expected at streeterville. I wish they had more chicken or vegetarian soup dumpling options! I loved the jjajjangmyeon

I would go back.
Had some pretty tasty Hot and Sour soup and Singapore Noodles.
H&S soup was good. Spicy. Could have been a smidge more sour. So my search for a really outstanding hot and sour soup continues! (Anybody know one please DM me!)
Singapore vermicelli noodles were nice. Well spiced. Had about 4 nice shrimp on them and little shreds of beef. My stomach was upset and wanted something basic. Was good, but other stuff on other tables looked better.
Service was fine. My waitress was sweet, though inattentive after my food came she was easy to flag down when I wanted her.
The water guy was amazing. My glass never was less than 3/4 full.
Overall, I would go back. I saw a tofu dish that looked good and also a couple of soup noodle dishes that looked tasty.

Tasty and really yummy food! But the staff tried to fool my parents with the payment twice and did not allow us to choose the amount of the tip on the payment screen and kept taking the machine away not allowing us to tip the amount we wanted. If they wouldn’t do it, we would leave a way more generous tip.
