I visited Healing Asia Food twice while I was in Chicago. The food was amazing and the staff was super kind. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in town!💌🤍

Solid spot for lunch in the Loop. I tried the Galbi-Tang—the broth was rich, and the short ribs were tender, though I only got two pieces. Also grabbed the Bulgogi Banh Mi; the flavors were good, but I was hoping for a bit more kick. Service was quick, and the staff was friendly. Spent around $30, and I'd come back to try other dishes.

This place is located in a food court in the basement of a building. It is close to the hotel that i stayed at and it opens at 8am. I decided to try this place out.
I ordered the combination pho and gimbap. The pho is different than what i am used to, like having shrimps and imitation crabs in it. The gimbap is decent size.

The guy that makes the food was pretty nice and quick.

Their bulgogi was flavorful and it was a fast and easy place to grab a bite for lunch! The only thing is that they do not serve the bhan mi with baguette but a normal bread roll

Green Apple PHOever is an absolute treasure tucked away in the food court of the building. If you’re in the Loop and craving amazing pho or Korean food, this is the spot you need to try!

Their pho is outstanding—the broth is incredibly clean yet packed with umami flavor, and the meat is unbelievably tender and fresh. The portion size was just right, leaving me perfectly satisfied. One standout detail: the owner mentioned they make their own chili oil, and you can taste the love and care in every drop!

I also have to recommend their Korean short rib soup and beef bone soup! Both are rich, flavorful, and incredibly comforting, with deep, hearty broths that warm you up instantly.

I can confidently say this place will become one of my go-to spots. Don’t miss out on this hidden gem—highly recommend it👍🏻❤️

Had lunch here, got the chicken and vegetable pho. It was nice on a rainy day, however the chicken could’ve been cooked better. Overall hit the spot and would try a different pho next time!

I popped in on a Saturday morning. The pho was a great way to start the day: good balance of broth, noodles, and meat. The man who served me was very kind - there was hoisin at the table with chili oil up front.

Randomly, the hot coffee was delicious, super simple and well sweetened. It was a nice finish on the walk home after the pho.

Definitely worth trying in the Loop, especially for an early lunch during work or when you find yourself there on a Saturday.

Such a hidden gem for pho in the loop! They use a house made bone broth for the soup base that makes the soup very clean and not overly rich.
