Green Eye Lounge feels like a commuter bar without a train to catch. It sits just under the Blue Line tracks like it’s waiting for people who still live in Bucktown or Wicker Park—not because they’re holding on, but because they still can. The place has that unmistakable mid-afternoon energy of locals stopping in after a half-shift, students with too much time, and visitors like us looking for a moment of shade before the night kicks off.
