Incredible bar. Great location. Great prices. And above all, great workers. Just yesterday, I was at the green eye to enjoy the bears game. An insanely annoying group of suburbanites were harassing the single bartender during a rush. The bartender politely, yet firmly shut them down, allowing for everyone else to get drinks within a reasonable timeframe. Most bartenders would have cowered and spent 15 minutes going through the menu with people in the city for a few hours. This...
Cool space I went to for a drawing event on a Wednesday night. I had a nice time, art was reasonably priced, typical Chicago dive bar nothing to write home about no complaints. Everyone was friendly, I'll probably come back.
This has been my favorite bar in Bucktown since 2010. It’s exactly what you want for a good hang. A long bar with plenty of seating. Excellent craft beer on tap. Cheap PBRs. Nice little tables to sit at with a group of friends. Overall always positive vibes, good music, great people.
