The Thai food is very authentic and delicious. The Tiger Cry appetizer is not to be missed and the roasted chicken with sticky rice and papaya salad is so delicious and difficult to find in the US.
I love this BYOB place.

We had a great experience here. We got the Satay, green curry and a couple other things. Everything was great. Fast and efficient service as you would expect. I love that it's a BYOB place with a liquor store right next door, so convenient.
We'll be coming back again for sure.

Off of several recommendations, I threw my friend a bachelor party here. We had a buffet set up with Pad Se Eew, Fried Enoki Mushrooms, Green Curry, Tiger Cry, Beef Jerky, Basil Pork, Isan Sausage Balls. And topped it off with Mango Sticky Rice.
All 100% recommended. All of the guys literally had great things to say about the food and were even asking for the recipes. A big chunk of us are Thai so we've definitely had a lot to compare to.
Can't say enough about the service, and about the owner/Manager Deer. He was very attentive to us and made sure we had everything that we needed. He also took the time on a busy Friday night to hang out with us for a bit.
I live out in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago but this place is well worth the drive and I'll definitely be coming back.

Very good Thai spot! Shared the shrimp tempura appetizer and phad see ew with tofu. Both were very good and well priced. Thai iced tea was tasty and also affordable. Highly recommend a visit.

Green Leaf Thai is my favorite Thai restaurant in the city! I've been coming here for years and they never disappoint. I'd recommend the salmon panang curry and their tiger cry appetizer; the beef is unbelievably flavorful and melts in your mouth. Their mango sticky rice is delicious as well. If you're a fan of Thai food, look no further than Green Leaf.

Food was amazing and will return to try other dishes. Service wasn't very friendly though, our waitress seemed annoyed right from the moment we entered and throughout the interactions. Hopefully we get a different server next time.

Green Leaf Thai may be one of the lesser known Thai spots in the city but our recent visit proved that it's worth checking out. As stated on the cover of their menu, the food delivered authentic Thai spice levels. The larb was perfect. It hit every note just right: slightly sweet, addictively tangy, smoky, spicy, and had great crunch from a generous amount of toasted rice. Truly one of the best versions of this dish that I've had. The gai yang (grilled chicken) and papaya salad were solid. The dark meat parts of the chicken were moist and flavorful with nice flavors from the lemongrass. However, the white meat parts were quite bland. The chicken also could have used a bit more char for smokiness. The papaya salad was a bit too sweet for my taste but still had a nice crunch and freshness.
My husband and I came for lunch and everything was absolutely delicious! We had rhe tempura enoki mushrooms, tom yum with chicken soup, pad see eiw with beef, and the chicken with sticky rice and papaya salad. We definitely over-ordered, but it's ok because now we have delicious leftovers for dinner tonight! The service was excellent and the food all came out quickly. We will definitely be back!

Pad see iew was good but pad thai was really overcooked mushy and bland. Was really surprised that the pad thai was so bad, it’s such a staple dish. Also we waited over thirty minutes for the pad thai, I’m not sure why it took so long because the pad see iew came out at a normal time. The server didn’t apologize for the late food, and was generally not very friendly.
