I recently visited with my family and friends and thought I’d share our experience. While our server was friendly and the food was fine, we were left thoroughly disappointed by the surprisingly unfriendly attitude of one of the employees by the bar toward our children. If you have a family, avoid this place. It is not kid friendly. While I understand our kids were running around, they were simply being kids and were abruptly and rudely told to stop. What followed was a noticeable lack of patience, complete with multiple eye rolls, which made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. The whole interaction felt less like a request for decorum and more like an exercise in condescencation. On a Saturday at 12pm, with an empty restaurant, do better. It's 2025. In the service industry, it’s important to remember that kids are, well, kids. Humble yourself and show more grace and a lot less attitude. This will unfortunately be our first and last visit. There are a lot better options in the West Loop that are more kid friendly. You're better off heading to The Vig.

Erin, our server was outstanding and such a sweetheart. We headed into the city and unfortunately, because of the weather and traffic had to cancel our reservation but found this place instead. Sure glad we did, drinks and food were incredible. Until next time!

We came to watch a basketball game, there were not many people in the bar, and politely asked for the sound to be turned on. We were told no as the sound was reserved for indoor golf. Will go elsewhere next time

Great food! The loaded tots were so good. Grilled chicken club was outstanding! Cool atmosphere to grab a quick bite or watch a game. Family friends. Big kids menu. We will be back.

Best sports bar in downtown . Amazing tv's playing every game! Very well thought through! Also, amazing draft list. Cheers.

The GSL team was very accommodating when we had one additional person join at the last minute. Service was great and atmosphere was laid back for our team happy hour.

Food was good but insanely expensive. Sandwiches for $18-$22 without any sides is ridiculous. Plus, it was so loud that we couldn't even hear ourselves think let alone talk. Will not go back

Allen took very good care of us for our pre hockey game meal. Great pizza and sandwiches along with a nice selection of draft beer in a nice sports bar atmosphere.

Tables were way to close together felt like I was sitting on top of people next to us that we didn't know (we had a 2 person table in the back)

Went in here on a weekend day when it opened. I was in there to watch a specific game that had a tv guide partially obstructing the view, and I politely went up to the owner/GM to ask if he would be able to remove the guide from the screen. Before I could even finish my sentence, the guy barked at me to 'GO SIT DOWN, THANKS.' So loud, that other bar patrons turned around wondering where this was coming from.

After walking back to my seat, pretty surprised by the exchange, and only feet from him, I hear him talk s*** about me to a waiter that came up to check on him, even sounding like he used a derogatory term when referring to me.

For a management person in the hospitality space to treat a paying customer like that, especially given the simple request I had, is pretty shocking, and could probably benefit from additional customer service training. Will not be racing back.

They don’t serve Bud Light, which is the only bar I’ve been to in Chicago that doesn’t. Owner is very political and I’m guessing that’s why even as sad as that is, it’s the truth. Food was average at best, service was OK but pretty slow. Environment was decent for games.

All the food is excellent, but make sure to try the not so deep dish pizza! It's a chicken pesto pizza that I guarantee will change your life!

The prices seem to change quite frequently… usually upward trend. The food and the service is great. If the owner only knew how to price the menu, this place would be packed all the time. They price out the “locals” of green street…

We stopped here on our first night visiting Chicago. The food was excellent but I would say a bit on the pricey side. Service was good. Overall, we had a good time.

Great service and atmosphere, but the food is wildly overpriced for the quality you receive. $25 for a burger and fries that are just average.
