Best Brisket I have had in a long time. Yummy stuff!
Great place besides the bar servers. Patrons are not there to praise you. The bar staff really needs to step it up . Maybe welcome people in by letting them know the specials or maybe a smile and making people feel like they matter . Atmosphere and food was great. Food staff was great but bar help completely sucked .
Took the family. They don’t have children’s menu but our boys shared pulled pork and jalapeño corn bread and the toddler had the macaroni salad too. They liked it. The atmosphere is family friendly with picnic tables , openness outdoors, and the surrounding noise. we went at 4pm
This place is THE BEST! Counter serve makes it easy with groups and the line moves quickly. The menu is easy to understand and fairly priced. The meats were great although the sides (broccoli salad, macaroni salad, and spicy pickles) and banana pudding were outstanding!
I loved the food so much. The beef was so juicy and soft, and the corn was delicious but a little extra salty. I recommend getting brisket and rib-eye.
Great food. Great atmosphere. Communication skills are great. Please consider this recommendation. When making a decision for your birthday. :)
Ps. Weststra is that you?

I ordered brisket, rib pork, and coleslaw. The meat was extremely tender and had a deep flavor. The sourness of the coleslaw was just right. The bread was topped with toppings. It was delicious.
The reason I thought the price was a little high was because of the sad depreciation of the yen.

They still source halal beef but it’s from demkota beef, not creekstone. They changed gloves, cleaned the knife and prepared my order in a clean area, away from the other meat. I appreciated that. The meat is cooked in the same smokers but beef is usually cooked separately from other meats.
I recommend the chopped brisket and sliced brisket.
Dietary restrictions: They have halal meat

Súper nice place and dont miss the Pastrami
Great music. Low key atmosphere, not pretentious. Fantastic barbecue. I had the pork ribs and pulled pork. Superb. No sauce needed, though it is there if you want it. The potato salad I got would have fed 3. The banana pudding was good as well. The self serve canned soft drinks was something new. I liked it. Come early as they sell out of the meat and don't make more. If you like BBQ, visit this restaurant experience.

Came in with a small group on a Saturday night, very long wait times but 100% worth it. Everything we had was amazing, my personal favorites were the pastrami and cheddar jalapeño sausage. Good selection of drinks, it’s counter service and first come for tables in the dining room.
