I went in and explained my allergy. I asked if they had soy or could check. Naomi was immediately offended. She went to the back to check with a manager 3x and told me she was too busy to check. I verified “so you don’t know what’s in your food?” She responded No we don’t and we have other orders we don’t have time to check. She went to get her superior whose attitude matched hers. Her tone demeanor and facial expressions and responses were snappy and sucky. I wouldn’t recommend anyone indulge in food where non of the employees even know what it contains or care to find out. Worst experience ever since my anaphylaxis diagnosis. First and last time here ever

This cafe sucks and anyone that gives it more then 2 stars is lying. They never have any ingredients to make a third of the dishes on the menu. They have a list of 6 smoothies and shakes but can only make 1 of them because of a lack of ingredients. Then the staff looks like they are mad because you asked for something on the menu. It's not like once in awhile this happens it's everyday. Good luck getting a PB+O smoothie the one decent thing on the menu. It's harder to get then a damn MC Rib! How hard is it to have peanut butter and bananas in stock to make this smoothie! Whoever is managing this place needs to be fired!

Was working from this cafe and overheard a boss or a supervisor scolding a full time employee for eating employee comped meals on days she didn’t work a full 8 hours. They apparently have a policy that if you don’t work a full 8 hours that day then you can’t get a comped meal. terrible policy. If you want your employees to feel cared for then you should be providing meals for them regardless of how many hours they work. People need to eat. I don’t understand how a cafe connected to a Christian center can be so cruel to their staff. That policy needs to change. Plus super unprofessional to scold an employee and be loud enough that surrounding customers can hear this. Better to address this issue in a team setting instead of singling someone out in the dining area, or simply have this conversation somewhere private.
Other than the supervisor, the staff is very nice and kind and don’t deserve ridiculous policies.

Been waiting 20 mints for a bit sandwich already asked for it twice I wish I never spend no money better yet time here don't come if ur hungry or in a rush this place has to be racist a black lady ordered two blts got them in 5 minutes i really hate this
