Grill on 21 is exceptional. From the initial greeting, through our meal and after, the staff was amazing. Marvin was our server and he was fabulous. He was attentive and extremely friendly. Will definitely return and will definitely recommend.

Steak Frites were out of this world! We thought the octopus was pretty good, not the best, a tad chewy and did have a bit of a fishy odor when it arrived. We'd go back for sure!

The whole team was accommodating of our large group. Our server Melvin was personable and knowledgeable of all the plates on the menu and i noticed him helping many at our table with pairings. The food was so fresh and tasty and I appreciate having options for vegetarians in our group. Thank you for a lovely evening!

My girlfriend is allergic to tree nuts and peanuts, and when the waiter asked what her allergies were, that is what she told the waiter. A few minutes later, the waiter brought an appetizer with pesto (which is made with nuts) being one of the main ingredients to us. My girlfriend proceeds to ask is there nuts in it. If my girlfriend didn't know about her foods and ate it you would've had an allergic reaction.

This place was absolutely amazing and amazing to us! The atmosphere was so nice and calm and ambient and the servers were amazing! They not only gave my fiance a free espresso martini for his birthday but a free one for me too and then a free piece of chocolate torte too! The service was fast and outstanding quality. Food and drinks were amazing!

Service was amazing. We came for a graduation celebration with ~10ppl. The room is gorgeous and our server was phenomenal. The food was ok but has gotten noticeably lower quality for many of the dishes that were on the menu previously. Like lobster thermidor? But with gnocchi? No, terrible, flavorless and not lobster thermidor. There was little flavor, none of the traditional fixings that come with lobster thermidor, and the little tiny chopped pieces of lobster was definitely not what I received the last time I ordered this at this restaurant.

Everything was outstanding, from the appetizers to the meals, the cocktails and service. The ambiance is quiet, refined and romantic. Our server took time to explain everything and had the courses timed to perfection. We had the beef Wellington and lamb chops, cooked perfectly and delicious. Outstanding old-fashioneds. Tucked away in the LaSalle hotel, would 100% recommend.
I took my daughter to Grill on 21. I visited once before & loved it, so decided to take her. She was very pleased. She liked the beautiful ambiance, our host Rachel was great. She ordered the sea food salad & absolutely loved it. Overall, I definitely give Grill on 21 a thumbs up 10. Will visit again soon. Thank you!

I was surprised to have one of the best steaks of my life here. We stayed in the hotel for a night and liked the convenience of dining in the hotel restaurant, but I did not expect to be "wowed" by the quality and flavor of my ribeye. We had an equally good Caesar salad and some solid cocktails, though they were a bit overpriced compared to the steak, which was an excellent value for the money. I didn't think I'd consider returning to the Grill on 21, but I can't wait to go back!

We had a lovely experience on Valentines Day. the food was excellent and our server was outstanding - she was incredible attentive and did a wonderful job throughout the night. She was also amazing with my food allergies - she personally went to the kitchen and double checked that everything we ordered was free of my allergens and continually reassured me throughout the night that everything was free from them. This was particularly meaningful to us because just the night before I had an incident in another restaurant that caused a severe reaction, so both my boyfriend and i had been nervous about dining out again so soon after but didn't want to give up this reservation we had been looking forward to for a month. Our server made our night - that's the type of service that's sets restaurants apart. It would have been nice if one drink had been included in the set Valentines menu price since it was $150, but it wasn't a deal breaker for us. Highly, highly recommend Grill on 21 and we will definitely be back!
