I had heard good things about this little basement coffee shop and decided to stop in while I was out for a walk. The atmosphere is fun and the service was fast and friendly. But the coffee was a letdown. My Americano was under-extracted and quite quite sour. My wife says I'm too picky about coffee, but this is the University of Chicago campus. If the intelligentsia aren't after good espresso, then who?

I was here like 1,5 years ago before Chicago marathon. That's really nice cozy place, I bought a mug there)) And that has some magic, still remembering small coffee shop in the basement ruled by the students, and located in thousands miles from you. Plan to visit it again :)
