Great atmosphere inside and outside! Perfect spot for a first (or second) date, but they don't have food. Side note: I have been when they randomly close early, so don't trust the closing time listed.
First neighborhood bar I discovered upon
moving to Chicago 2 years ago and it’s by far my favorite. Great spot for dates, pre or post cubs games, or just stopping in for a relaxing drink. Wish I lived right next door.

A couple blocks from Wrigley Field, Guthries is always a fun time! Gather a group, grab a table and a few games from the wall, and order a pizza to be delivered! Great for pre and post Cubs games or just for a typical Chicago neighborhoody night out. Typical dive bar drinks and beer on tap. It can get crowded, especially game or concert nights.
