So glad to find this place. My husband and I have always wanted to find our go-to ramen place as most places don't carry many pork-free options. This place really set the bar and I cannot stop thinking about the Gyukotsu ramen we had. Everyone there was nice and the customer service was great. My husband even ordered more food because it was so good. This place gives us more reason to stop by in the city every once in a while. Thank you all so much. Loom forward to coming back.

Loved this Ramen spot! Great vibes and great staff. Everyone was very attentive and helpful. I even spilled my tea and the young man was so sweet in helping me get it cleaned up and offered me to move tables if it was wobbly but I am just clumsy haha. I got great recommendations from the wait staff and I was not disappointed. I got the chicken gyozas steamed and the Wagyu Miami Gyukotsu Ramen. I added corn to mine but it came with a truffle Wagyu wonton, menma, tamago, nori and scallions. Great flavor and great serving size! It was a fun environment.

This place is truly a hidden gem. My wife and I are were on the hunt for ramen with beef broth and we stumbled on Gyuro Ramen. The food was delicious, the place was decorated really nice inside & the customer service was good! The food came out quickly and fresh wish is always appreciated.

My husband and I love this place. A bit off the beaten path in west loop which is nice because it feels like a bit of an oasis from the hustle and bustle. Food is really good — it is my favorite vegetarian ramen I’ve had in Chicago. Highly recommend.

Came here an a quick lunch date with my husband. Service was great. Food was great as well. The waygu wontons were amazing and so was the ramen. I got the spicy miso with wagyu. Husband got the thin beef brother with waygu and spicy pickles. For dessert we got the pistachio gelato. Overall pretty good.

From the moment you step inside, Gyuro feels like you’ve stumbled into a contemporary Japanese ramen shop. Super friendly service - we were immediately offered baskets to store our jackets.
Started with edamame and chicken karaage. The later was fresh but needed a little seasoning. Signature gyukotsu was pretty tasty but the broth was a bit flat and benefitted greatly by adding chili oil. Dog rice was excellent and full of flavor!

Went here on a Tuesday for a dinner with some friends after work. There are plenty of seats on weekdays. There was also a girl and a boy dating next to our table (of course we gossiped, it was so fun lol). Food was good. Loved the boned-in beef. Friends got wagyu ramen and I got the veggie one. Snacks were pretty pasty as well.

Contender for one of the top ramens in Chicago? I ordered the spicy miso ramen, which delivered on all fronts: meat, noodles, and broth. Oh also who doesn’t love the jammy egg to come with their ramen? I thought the meat was super impressive: tender slices of beef with a savory, delicious broth. I was a little skeptical when the ramen came out in 5 minutes but hey, if you can deliver tasty ramen quickly, more power to you! No wait either to get a seat - would definitely come back!

Best ramen in the city, specifically BEEF BONE BROTH (Misuji). I’ve come here over 10 times and I have yet to find something that beats it. The karage is very good too.

The ramen was ok. What really stood out to me is they served me a small desert in a very unstable container (metal basket with a handle twice as long as the size of the base) and refused to give me a new one when it fell on the floor. I'm not a very demanding customer but it would've cost them so little to keep me happy. Wouldn't go back.

seriously some of the best ramen in chicago. they were slightly understaffed and very busy when i was there yet they were so apologetic about it and even gave us some free treats as a thank you for our patience. staff could not be nicer, broth could not be tastier. seriously 10/10. also the atmosphere of a Tokyo street is so cute. can’t wait to go back.

The big bone in Dog Rice is so tender and juicy! They also have a soft shell crab ramen. Has gluten friendly options.
