the spicy garlic miso is really yummy!! we ended up coming here because ramen-san had a 2 hour wait.. but i honestly thought this ramen was better š Updated from previous review on 2025-02-23
Enough great options to choose from, very tasty.
Very good overall with some interesting variation, like their beef ramens. Fried chic appetizer was amazing. So is the yakisoba. The spicy miso broth is very good as well. I plan on coming back to try out the duck ramen. It can be a bit cold by the front due to the breeze from the front door.
Dietary restrictions: Waiter asked. Menu stated to mention. Option to make some non veg dishes into vegetarian.
Kid-friendliness: Casual. They happy gave us extra bowls to share.

Great service, wide variety of options without being overwhelming. I had the standard ramen and we loved the seaweed salad and kimchi. Nice atmosphere, no complaints!

Aesthetics do meet taste here as the Spicy Garlic Miso with Wagyu was an excellent bowl of ramen through and through. The heat of spice balanced just right with the broth flavor, and all ingredients worked well together. The noodles were not perilously long either. In a fair price range. Things are working well here.

Immediately YES! When I walked through the doors, I immediately felt like I had teleported into a restaurant in Tokyo. I went on a Sunday night and this place gave date night vibes, both solo date and couples date night. I love a menu with pictures. I got one of the specials with Wagyu and ribs. It was amazing. Oh and they provide both forks and chop sticks. For drinks, I would recommend the white peach tea. The service was excellent. The food was excellent. The vibes were everything I wanted. I think adding some light over head music and a non virgin drink menu could be cool but I also appreciate that there is at least one place left in Chicago that doesnāt serve alcohol. Loved it ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø.
Kid-friendliness: No alcohol, they offer options with smaller portions, and the tables are fairly low. Smaller children could sit at comfortably.

A delicious bowl of ramen with unique offerings - duck based broth, wagyu beef (just the roast).
The broth is flavorful, and thereās many ways to customize it. The noodles were okay but not as memorable.
I think this is on the upper tier of ramens in West Loop.

If youāre expecting actual good Japanese ramen, this is not the place.
This is just one of the many mid ramen places in Chicago.

Had the spicy garlic miso ramen. Delicious vegan option. There were a few other vegan ramens including a seasonal curry one.
Came in here to grab food for lunch today. It was my first time and I didnāt know what to do how to order how to read the menu nothing. Homeboy at the register approached me, asked how I was doing and if I needed help. He walked me through the menu step by step and helped me order. Very nice gentleman wish I would have caught his name. While I waited for my food, because I got it to go because I was in a hurry, he checked in on me letting me know it would be up soon. I waited less than 5 min no problem at all. When I got back to my room, it was around a ten min walk, all my food was hot and warm still. It was easy to mix up all had to do was pour the broth. It was delicious and easily the best meal in my 3 days in Chicago.

I had the pleasure of trying two standout dishes: the Gyukotsu Ramen with Beef Chashu and the Rosu-Kamo Shio with Duck Breast, and both were incredible in their own right. The beef chashu was incredibly tender and flavorful, with just the right amount of marbling that melted in my mouth. Then, the Rosu-Kamo Shio with Duck Breast blew me away! The duck breast was perfectly cooked. The shio (salt) broth allowed the flavors of the duck to shine through without being overpowering. It was a unique, pleasant twist on ramen that I can't recommend enough.
