Sorry, but the glorified Filet-O-Fish sandwich that they now serve pales in comparison to what I remember getting maybe 4 years ago. It used to be a fresh piece of cod, battered perfectly. Now it’s a square of obviously frozen fish of unknown source. Very disappointing! The smoked fish and shrimp and the salads are the same and very good. Too bad the fish sandwich was not.

On the coldest day this winter, why not place an order ahead of time for pick up? Easy online ordering, great parking lot, friendly staff and clientele, and nice customer service. The fried shrimp and scallops were delicious, as were the tartar and cocktail sauce. I haven't been here in over ten years, nothing has changed, and I'll be back before another decade passes!

One of Chicago’s old school Fisheries. Definitely gourmet and everything is made to order. Driven past for years, but finally glad I stopped by. ordered 1 lb of fried shrimp and 1lb of fish chips (and sauce) for $42.
Great fried fish of all sorts and amazing smoked fish as well. Well staffed and nice people at the counter service.

I've been coming here with my father since I was a kid and he would bring his own fish and have it smoked. I know come for the Orange Roughy filets. The sweat candy salmon is the best and the best emoyees and staff.
