Has been a child memory of mine since the late 60s to go pickup popcorn shrimp for Sunday dinner for my mom and dad. When I visited the old neighborhood last year the only thing missing was the greasy bag I use to ride home with the shrimp.

I've been going there since I got my driver's license in the late 70s, through COVID when they served you through a window in the parking lot., and to this day, I go out of my way to go to Hagen's.

A neighborhood gem. I never have had a bad experience here and the food quality is top notch. I always get their fried offerings and they are deliciously fresh and not dripping in oil. Service is always provided with a genuine smile. Note that there is a 3% service fee for using cards but not unusual nowadays and you do have to order and pay for sauces ala carte, ie they do not automatically come with your fish fry and other items. Definitely try them out, highly recommended.
