I've been going there since I got my driver's license in the late 70s, through COVID when they served you through a window in the parking lot., and to this day, I go out of my way to go to Hagen's.
A neighborhood gem. I never have had a bad experience here and the food quality is top notch. I always get their fried offerings and they are deliciously fresh and not dripping in oil. Service is always provided with a genuine smile. Note that there is a 3% service fee for using cards but not unusual nowadays and you do have to order and pay for sauces ala carte, ie they do not automatically come with your fish fry and other items. Definitely try them out, highly recommended.
I have been coming here since I was young for the fried shrimp. Still as good as it was then. I did however like the bags better than the white boxes. Thanks for always being a great place to stop.
