What else would you expect from Thai & Danielle Dang, the hottest restaurant pair at this moment, but fresh, bursting but balanced flavor in every bite. We had the Valentine's Day Grand Tasting Tour of 3 starters and 2 mains plus sides and dessert for $80. Highlight "for fun" course featured baby broccoli with guava, tamarind, Vietnamese herbs, and fried shallots. HaiSous Vietnamese Kitchen is undeniably good - which is why the hype left me somewhat confused.

Every dish was enjoyable, yet nothing truly stood out as exceptional. The Bò Nướng Tỏi came closest, featuring beautifully cooked Australian Wagyu with vibrant lemongrass and chili-lime flavors.

The Bún Xào Cua was pleasant but forgettable. Well-cooked noodles, decent flavor, but missing depth or character.
