The fries are so perfect :0
Great food, beer, staff, and patio! Unfortunately, inconsiderate parents of small children make it difficult to enjoy an otherwise awesome place. Maybe if you separate the patio into a kids-only area and an adults-only area, that would definitely help! It sounds like this is technically already the case, but that the set-up is not being enforced. Kids in breweries are fine, but kids repeatedly running circles around our table and screaming while the parents happily watch is not fine.
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. They have a good beer selection. I had the Pony lager and a Chicken Sando with the Bama white sauce. They were both very good.
Good beer, good food, wait staff was unwelcoming and rude.
In & out in 30 minutes , docks are little tight
Incredible beer, but the taproom often has many children ( newborn - toddlers) Expect screaming and running around. If you bring your stroller you will be in good company.
Visited May 2024. Great craft beer brewery. Indoor and outdoor seating. Good selection of beers, mostly pale ales/ipas when I visited but also some heavier darker beers + lagers etc. There is something for everyone.
There was also a shop, good amount of to-go beers, merch and some weed stuff.
They also serve food!
Always wonderful staff and quality beer.
Half Acre burger is rather nice
Frozen patty but made with care.
Fries were quite nice. Rosemary oil was good touch.
Burger is solid choice if you want to delay your alcohol infused brain to take over
Drinks? Incredible. Food? Delicious. Prices? Reasonable. Environment? Cozy and fun! Only downside - service was hella slow on a Sunday - place was pretty full and there was only one bartender working, she was clearly a bit overwhelmed trying to take care of the bar and the entire floor. Wish their management would have assigned at least two people to take orders at the bar!
I love daisy cutter! I have been to Chicago multiple times and I always get Daisy cutter and this is my first time being at half acre brewery. Unfortunately chicago is the only place I can find daisy cutter. I am from KC and we can't get it out there which really sucks. I have to say that half acre was amazing and I loved all the ipa's/pale ales we got ! Definitely recommend for anyone who likes a good pale ale! 10/10.

Came here yesterday and had a mixed experience. The service and beer were excellent as usual (love the Sky Show). That said, I struggle to see why any childless adult would come here to drink and hang out given the large number of screaming and generally rambunctious children both indoors and on the patio. There was yelling/crying throughout my entire meal on the patio and kids running around as I ate. This place seems to be more focused on families with kids lately and as a result, I probably won’t be coming back. Shame as I love the beer and used to have a good time here but again, it felt more like a play place and the level of noise and general chaos from children was not what I’d expect from a place I’d want to go have a drink at.
Perfect stop while biking around the city. Great outdoor area as well as bar inside. Shop has lots of to go beer and other items. Food is excellent and the service too. Definitely recommend stopping by.
First time visit to Half Acre was fantastic. Great atmosphere and even better food. 10/10 would recommend
Celebrated a family birthday yesterday and had a wonderful time! Our lovely server went out of her way to make it special for the birthday girl! Shop staff were also super helpful!
The beer has alway been a fan favorite. The food however, was not great and needs to be monitored. The mussels were questionable and just funky. Not sure what happened to the food and or kitchen but completely different from what we recall from this establishment.
