I REALLY like this place. I've been here in Chicago for two weeks and have patronized rhis place a few times. Each time the service has been excellent and the entertainment very fun!

I love this place and I'm so glad it's back in Chicago. If you're looking for cocktails, fun burgers, and local drag, this is the spot for you.

The ambiance of the establishment was captivating, adorned with an abundance of festive decorations. The culinary offerings were satisfactory. In the non-show area, the lighting was subdued, necessitating the use of mobile devices to peruse the menu. The staff and waitress exhibited commendable friendliness and attentiveness. Notably, they refrained from assigning our group to a separate bill. However, patrons seeking seating in the show area are required to pay an additional $10 per person, which is subsequently included in the bill. Gratuities are already factored into the total.

Had a great time!! Debbie is LOVELY please give her a raise thanks. The fried pickles were the best in the city hands down. The fries were alright, and so were the drinks-- only complaint was they took forever to come out. Good time overall :)))

The drag shows are always great but the food and atmosphere is always a pleasure to be around. Zak and Barbie Blanco are loud, proud, and awesome servers. Ashley and Brandon are awesome and involved owners. The food is always served fresh and delicious. I love this place just to hang out after work and absorb the vibe it gives off. Thanks guys!

Mary's is back! I love the new location. The space is huge, open, and inviting. Stopped in for a burger and drinks; the burger was delicious an well cooked, the sweet potato fries cripsy, and the drinks sweet and strong. Feels like home again!

People were having so much FUN. The drag show was already in progress as we walked in. We aren't into drag shows, old married couple, so we sat by the window which did keep the entertainment at bay and we were able to enjoy our food. If you like Drag Shows this is a don't miss. If you don't appreciate a very loud environment you will need to time your visit to the non-drag show hours. No acoustical treatment on the tin ceiling and metal rafters, sound bounced everywhere. I could hear the patron's conversation at a table 4 tables away. This is an easy fix with some low cost ceiling and wall treatment so I'm sure it's coming. No seat is away from the noise in the open floor plan room.
Hamburger Mary's US business plan isn't built around a gastronomical extravaganza of exquisite dishes. It's a lower quality food options menu with a fun lively social atmosphere. In other words, you go for the view and conversation, not the food experience. This place builds on that model. It will be a great place for the community to come, meet, drink, eat and enjoy. So glad they reopened.
I think they are on track to make a successful business, they need to continue the maturing process of their business, upgrade the food a little and options (they can't right now, it's too soon) and improve the building a little. But that takes time and this place just opened. A definite must see in Edgewater. Don't miss.

Show is fun, but the food is garbage. I’ve had better burger and fries at McDonalds. Much cheaper. Their fries are soggy, overcooked and not crispy. the hamburger was a frozen patty thawed and slapped on a bun. Plus there’s a 20% service charge. Go for the show, not for dinner. Save your money to tip the queens.

So happy that Hamburger Mary's is back! They're just getting back into the swing of things but its so great to see investment back into the community. Will be visiting regularly! The performers are great and the service is good.
