Cash only places always hit different. Hole in the wall, straight forward, basic menu, no fee ATM inside. Food is what you come for. Tastes like family

A very no frills, owner-couldn’t-give-a-heck-about-you type experience and it was awesome. I got the beef brisket soup and it came with a side of kimchi, radish kimchi, rice, and green onions. The soup when it arrives is pretty mild but they give you everything you need to add some flavor. The brisket was good, the kimchi was amazing, and the tea (I think Barley?) was also great. Definitely more of a winter spot but not terrible on a summer day either! It is cash only with a no-fee ATM inside.

Authentic Korean soups that is very simple, clean and tasty. Soup comes with homemade kimchi and radish along with green onions and rice. Soup base is very simple and is not salted so you have to salt to taste. Although the soup is simple, the combination with the side dishes is perfect.

overall i think this place was pretty good, I think i would rate it higher depending on the situation in which I had gone. For example if it was colder out it would have been a lot nicer. Honestly the worst thing about it is that its cash only.

Authentic seolleongtang, make sure you season to taste with salt and pepper yourself when they bring you the stew! Also the kkakdugi here was really good!

The food was phenomenal. Please note that payment is cash only; an ATM is available on-site if needed.

Love places like this. Divey, no frills, don’t be scared. Eat and GTFO. Cash only. It’s basically beef bone broth that’s nuked for days so the broth is white and milky. You choose what kind of beef cuts you want in it and add the salt to taste on the table. It’s a remedy for a hangover or a cold winter’s day.

Just went for the 3rd time 🤩 The seolleongtang and kimchi are delicious! My fave is the brisket. I love all the Korean restaurants in the area, but this one has a special place in my heart ❤️

To note: limited but free parking and cash only

Please shut this place down it's disgusting I will never order from here again. I should have known as soon as I parked and was being watched by an older lady who seemed very rude no greeting no thank you just took my order and gave me the food no smile nothing. The food was not fresh and had a weird smell. I will take my business elsewhere. Never again

We just had take out from this restaurant and it was entirely yummy and satisfying! We loved it! We all had the brisket soup, with the kimchi and radish sides, the scallions, salt, noodles and rice that all accompanied the order. Everything was wonderful. Everyone could make their soup according to their spice level, salt level...and we poured some of the radish juice into the broth as well. Service was kind, and fast. :-)

Ok if you like traditional Korean soups! This place is wonderful! My friends and I like to go here for soup with a hangover. LOL
It always seems to make us feel better after having their soup! Service wise it’s just the owner with is an elderly lady. She is the sweetest person ever just a little patience will be needed that’s all it’s worth it though that’s for sure!

Amazing Korean comfort food that is also quite healthy. This place is a hidden gem in the Albany Park neighborhood. It appears that everything on the menu is gluten-free and dairy-free. The harmony that runs the place is very sweet!

The food is largely Korean noodle and meat soup. The brisket and flank, sliced beef are really good, but you really explore the flavors when you get tendon, tripe, oxtail, tongue, and thinly sliced spleen. No korean bbq dishes.

Each dish is very lightly salted, so they have sea salt on every table to add to your taste. The noodles are sweet potato noodles, which are semi translucent and wider than pho noodles (vermicelli)or egg noodles.

Everything comes with two different kinds of kimchi, traditional cabbage and diced daikon radish, as well as a bowl of rice. You get your money’s worth!

Highly recommended!

Note: cash only.
