The sandwich was okay, the sirloin was very tender. The other condiments on the sandwich tasted ok as well. The pretzel bread was kind of stale and the slice was off, leaving a hole in the bottom of the pretzel bread. The worst part is that they don't accept cash. I should have walked out after finding that out, but I found out when they expected me to pay. I didn't see a single sign that said no cash was accepted. So, 2 stars for a sub-par sandwich and not accepting cash.

Horrible place. 2/10 experience overall. Went for lunch with coworkers. The bretzels were severely overbaked, extremely poor customer service from all of the staff, they made us feel like we were bothering them instead of being excited to serve us $17+ sandwiches. The timer for the oven beeped for minutes long every 10 minutes. Water for purchase only. Garbage was filled to the brim on the way out. Yikes never again

I was only guest there . Employee started to make my order. Stopped when a delivery order came to check them in. WHY??? Is not the person who waited for service and waiting to give you money not important? Finish one thing at a time and move on.

I love Hannah's Bretzel. Their ingredients are top notch. My only complaint is the pretzel bun they use for sandwiches. It needs to be wider to fit all the yumminess. It's very annoying cause everything slides out or falls out, or maybe I'm just a messy eater.

I have tried now three times to give this place a chance now that spots are open downtown again. Each time, the service is totally uncommunicative, does not ask if I want anything else or additions, my breakfast sandwich usually missing ingredients or not heated up - they put my eggs on a cold bread roll with cold bacon. Don’t include napkins, don’t have cream out, etc. Coffee is in a warmer and not freshly brewed.I am really disappointed because the quality used to be really good here and it’s completely gone downhill and I won’t be coming back again. This applies to all of them downtown.

Great Breze! I ate it plain. You should sell Butterbrezen like in Germany. Those sell like crazy there. You can make those ahead and sell to people in a hurry.

Well, I had a really good cup of cauliflower soup here once. Nice spot to ingest a meal. Worthwhile.

Sandwiches are so good. Usually the best quality. I always want fruit salad and they never have them ready to go though.

With several locations of Hannah's Bretzel now temporarily closed, including my go-to in the Illinois Center, I was psyched to come here for a Friday lunch. Sadly, this location, adjacent to the Grant Thornton building and a stone's throw from the Thompson Center, is not up to par. I suppose I should have done my due diligence, as I was looking for a spot to eat in (most Hannah's Bretzel locations have plentiful seating). Instead, the seating was limited to a couple of counters, one facing onto Randolph Street and the other puzzlingly facing a blank wall, along with a puzzling, cushioned situation that was elevated several feet above the floor. There was also a notable absence of lighting.Things didn't get any better when I got into line to order. There was a lot of confusion about what kind of bread I wanted for my Atlantic Smoked Salmon sandwich (wecken) on. Given this was a straight off the menu order, with no substitutions, I'm not certain why this was unclear. There was a woman ahead of me who was paying, and several patrons behind me. Fortunately, another sandwich maker came out of the back room to assist. I ended up taking my order to go, due to the lack of seating and all around frustrating experience. Sadly, I won't be back here and will try another one of the other 2 locations that is still standing. I hope this minor setback at this location is not indicative of the quality overall. It would be a shame to lose a restaurant I have long appreciated for its stellar service, quality ingredients, and inviting ambiance.

Love coming in here. I show up after the lunch crowd so it's nice and chill, the staff is super welcoming, and there's a ton of seating. I always order the same tasty grass fed oven roast beef sandwich. The pretzel bread satisfies my naughty carb obsession, and the meat is perfect - not gristly or chewy like the not so good meat you'll find at other places. I also love that the sandwiches come with sides, and I always choose the delish chips. This is my weekly go-to, and it's hilarious that I'm saying that, since I'm downtown a day or two a week at most. It's that good, I'm always filled, and my ass is plain as hell and will always go for the sure thing.Pro Tip: They have an epic wall of chocolate. Any time my ma, or any chick for that matter, is in a bad mood I know just where to pick up the weapon of choice before I face them in battle.

Amazing staff with great knowledge about celiacs. Everything can be made gluten free. Great price point for the food and The chips that come with the meal are also a surprising tasty addition ($12~13)
