Slow service and rude barista.

I ordered my coffee online and arrived to pick it up 20 minutes later. There were no other customers, but the owner or employee didn’t even acknowledge me when I walked in. I had to let her know I was there to pick up my order, and only then did she check the items and start making my coffee. I ended up waiting another 10 minutes. The lack of professionalism was shocking. To top it off, the coffee was just barely warm. Definitely a one-star experience, I'd recommend another location.

I would recommend addressing customer concerns rather than engaging in conflicts, as seen in other reviews.

I had an extremely unpleasant experience with a specific employee named Yamel at this cafe. Instead of providing clear and respectful communication about my order, Yamel responded with unprofessional and dismissive comments that only escalated the situation. When I reached out to check if my pickup order was ready, I was repeatedly told to 'just check in-store' with no clear answer.

Not only was this inconvenient, but her attitude was shockingly rude, making the entire interaction uncomfortable and frustrating. This isn’t the kind of behavior that belongs in customer service, and it certainly doesn’t make customers feel valued or respected. For anyone considering ordering here, be prepared for an unpleasant experience if you have to deal with her

I ordered a drink for pickup from this cafe, thinking it would be ready when I arrived. After not receiving any updates, I tried reaching out via text to confirm the status. Instead of a clear answer, I was repeatedly told to ‘check in-store,’ which defeated the purpose of ordering ahead.

The responses were not only unhelpful but also came off as rude and dismissive. I was informed that I was texting a ‘personal number,’ yet this was the same contact used to confirm the order, which made the interaction confusing and unprofessional.

When I expressed my frustration, the replies became even more hostile, with the owner herself calling me names and escalating the situation rather than addressing my concerns.

For anyone considering ordering here, be prepared for poor communication and a lack of basic customer service. This experience has left me extremely disappointed and unlikely to return.

They do run out of the bears sometimes so reach there early!

they only had one person working the counter who was set up to fail if there was any sort of a “rush” i waited 15 minutes for a mediocre cold brew that cost me $7

2 words - EGG SANDWICH! It was one of the best egg sandwiches we’ve ever had - fluffy egg, melted cheese, tasty bun! What else could you ask for! I also order their Purple Haze Coffee, and it was so flavorful! Definitely coming back for brekkie!

This is a nice spot to study or work, very spacious and quiet. I got the ube latte and would expect it to be artificial or too sweet, but to my surprise it actually taste like real ube!

Here is the thing. Drinks were excellent but the carrot cake had mold in there. And the sofas are stained and really gross looking. I had a really interesting croissant crossover pastry which was excellent. My friend had the not so great option mold. I would go back just for the lattes or drinks. Highly recommend to take it to go!

A cute coffee spot in River North! The vibes inside are really nice to stop by or hangout for a bit but it is a bit odd to be on the lobby of an apartment building. I got their ube latte which was sorta like cotton candy coffee, a bit too sweet for me but still enjoyable. I splurged to get the cute bear cup which is definitely pricey but a fun little addition to the coffee. The staff were super friendly and helpful in recommending drinks!

Worst service experience in a long time. We wanted two hot lattes and an iced caramel. Manager consistently refused to listen and insisted we were only ordering two drinks. She even disagreed with me when I recognised the discrepancy in the price. After making the incorrect drinks and (as I expected) not making the third, I asked for a correction. She claimed the mistake was ours, saying “that’s why I asked you again”, to which I pointed out that I had asked about it when I checked the price. She refused to apologise or comp and would not make the correct drinks until we paid for the missing one. Worst service I’ve seen in a coffee shop ever.
