From STL it was my first time trying Harold’s. The cashier/bartender was amazing and even recommended we try the wings with all the sauces. I got the wings & waffle special even though they didn’t have any syrup but my wings were over fried and the waffle was half over cooked as well. The sauce almost saved my meal but it was cool just to say I tried it.

I absolutely love the laid back atmosphere of hip hop and a staple food for me and my friends growing up with an addiction to the sauce ( & those wings hot and seasoned oh so well) ! Pleasantly surprised that my adulthood was embraced with tasteful adult beverages. The spot to chill, reflect and unwind. New level Harold’s Chicken !

Honestly hit and miss. Husband waited 45 mins for our food tonight in a store that emptied out twice while he was there. This isn’t the first time that’s happened to us - they got better for a while, and then it happened again tonight. When they fail, they fail bad. We could have cooked ourselves or ordered a delivery from miles away and eaten it by the time we got our order. We try to support local and we live right by but sometimes, like tonight, it’s hard.

Chicken is crispy and not greasy, medium sauce is tasty. Breading is alright though and could do with much more
