I was just in Harold's chicken #88 on east 35th street and my mom sent me there to get her a container of butter cookies and a container of chocolate chip cookies, the total came to $8.86 and I gave the lady named Net a 20 dollar bill and she gave me a dollar fourteen cents back. I should have gotten $11 dollars fourteen cents back. Then she stood there and lied her tail off saying I gave her a ten dollar bill, I gave her a solid 20 dollar bill and she still lied and said I gave her a ten. Then she had a funny look on her face because she KNEW she had lied. I called my mom and she told me not to worry about it. We all gonna stand before the judgment seat of God one day and we gonna account for ALL.

Harold’s is always the first place i go when i land in the Chi. This past week was no different. My best friend picked me up from the airport and already knew what it was, lol. This particular Harold’s was recommended. I stopped in around 8:30 or so and i gave my spill abt how it’s a tradition each time i come Chicago, Harold’s it’s always the first stop. The lady at the register took my order and asked where i was visiting from. I got wings and a pizza puff with mild and hot sauce, salt/pepper, and ketchup. She recommended i add Lemon Pepper, i obliged. After abt 10 minutes, i got my fresh food with a free bottle of mild sauce. Once i made it to the crib the food was gone in abt 7 mins. Food and customer service 10 out of 10 would highly recommend… I’ll definitely be back.

My daughter went in and ordered for herself, 2 children and me. My small livers was good. If you enjoy livers never order the small. It just won't be enough!! The children would have enjoyed their wings but the hot sauce spilled on some part of them. I'm sure they ate them or some part of them. Anyway maybe they can wrap the sauce in plastic wrap or something in case the top is not on good or it gets jostled off. All in all it tasted very good to me. Next time I'll get the large!!

You walk in and see pictures of Mohammed Ali, Malcom X, Marcus Garvey, Miles Davis, and other heroes and artists. A warm, welcoming atmosphere that serves as a cultural foundation in the community. The food was excellent. My co-workers and I got the 3 wing special with a pop. Chicken was perfectly cooked, and it, along with the fries, had the right amount of mild sauce. A wonderful experience for lunch. I plan on coming again.

The only Harold's I go to when I'm in the city. The food is cooked fresh and still hot by the time I arrive home, which is a 45 min drive. The cashiers are always nice. It doesn't take long, which I don't mind waiting for fresh food.

Gotta be the worse Harold’s Chicken in the city of Chicago. I only gave it one star because it doesn’t have a minus 0 rating. If you are a regular there, you have Stockholm syndrome. Try another Harold’s and you will understand why I say this. Harold’s on 92 Ashland is the best!!!

Harold's is a South Side institution and this place is an excellent place to satisfy your craving. Harold's was designed for each franchise to develop its own ambiance/vibe - it was specifically trying to avoid the cookie cutter molds you see from other fast food places. This is probably why it's a bit inconsistent from location to location; this franchise is great. My usual order is a half chicken meal with both mild and spicy sauce. I thought this came out great - it has the same excellent taste as the other Harold's places I've been to. It's been rated as one of the best Harold's in Chicago and I think the ranking makes sense. The location itself is very clean and everyone was very friendly. There are a few tables around but it's not designed for you to dine-in; it's made for takeout. Harold's cooks its meals to order so expect to wait at least 10 minutes. It's not as fast as your other fast food franchises - but most fast food places don't cook your meal to order so I think it's well worth the wait. They also accept grubhub orders here if you don't want to order at the counter and wait. I think it's definitely worth the wait - Harold's is something I try to get whenever I am back in Chicago!

Harold’s has every marker of a great food establishment. Some people go to restaurants and base experience off aesthetics and if that’s you then this is not a place for you. But the food quality is out of this world. Best Harold’s location in Illinois hands down!

They deserve zero stars. Fries weren't done, chicken was pale, waited over 30 minutes for my food AND it was in a danger zone? Nope. Not again.
