This place is absolutely horrible.I will drive all the way to 73 th stony island to get my chicken from now on. The fool as a row outta the 4 wings for a heart with mouth sauce and black pepper.I got steroid wings . and it was cold after i waited 30minThe owner has a very nasty attitude. She not friendly at all her customer service skills is the reason why the restaurant is empty. I call to talk to her and tell her that my food wasn't cooked hard and she said NO refund. So that really tells me that she don't care about her food/ or customer's Because if I'm cooking for the public and they're not satisfied.Then my main goal is to satisfy the customer so that my business can grow .!!! And not to mention it smells like a(((( DIE RAT)))) .!!!! when I pulled up 2 young men were in the back smoking weed. Turns out that's the person that cooked my food and brought it to me. I didn't have any napkins in my bag. THE SERVICE HERE IS SO UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! . IT LET'S ME KNOW THAT THEY DON'T PUT ANY LOVE OR PASSION IN THE COOKING OF THIS FOOD. I really wanted to post the pictures of my food but I see she don't have that feature cause she don't want nobody to see rhe work !!!!!! I GUESS I GOTTA GIVE IT ONE STAR, BUT I REALLY WANNA GIVE IT 0's ALL AROUND THE BOARD.š¤š¤®š¤¢

I had a long string of hair weave in my food on June 2 at 12 noon. The lady at the window was very rude, no type of customer service. I will never go back to eat there, ever.

Affordable and delicious! I donāt get to Chicago much anymore but when I do, Bronzeville Gap Haroldās is our go-to for freshly fried Fried Chicken with hot sauce on wonder bread! Perfection every time! And Iām able to grab a bottle of hot sauce to go!

I asked for a six-piece fried hard and it was fried ok. It was way undercooked on the inside, I went out of my way to go to this one and was unhappy with what I received so I don't know if I will be going back period the wait time was on real and it was one person in front of me and still waited 35mins.

This place is absolutely terrible. The food, pricing, customer service, and even the locationāall awful. We called in an order for the 10-piece wing special with lemon pepper seasoning on the wings and mild sauce on the side. We were told it would be ready in 20 minutes. When we arrived, not only was the food not ready, they were just dropping the fries. When we finally got home, we realized they didnāt include the mild sauce at all. The fries were undercooked, and the lemon pepper seasoning was dumped unevenly in one spot on the wings. We called to let them know about the issues, and the man on the phone was argumentative instead of apologetic. We paid over $21 for 10 poorly made wings and honestly, it was a complete waste. Theyāll never get another dollar from me.
I hate this Haroldāsā¼ļø the light skinned lady with blonde hair is very disrespectful and non chalant! I called at 7pm and they kept declining my calls, I left my house and got there 7:26pm and sheās turning the lights off when the store closes by 8pm she did not show any kind of remorse nor professionalism she even went the store next to hers and started talking rubbish! Donāt go here!!!!!

I ordered 6 wings at 7:07 pm I did not receive my food until 7:57 pm, and this was my second time being a patron as the first time my chicken taste like freezer but I gave it another chance and wouldn't you know it FREEZER taste again

Itās just sad that you canāt support black businesses because sometimes the employees donāt support themselves. Itās sad that itās like Fort Knox in there and the people behind the glass seem like unhappy mean spirited prisoners

Im a university of Chicago student and this was my first time trying Harold's. This place is the worst. The employees are rude, they didn't pick up the phone when I called, and the chicken is soggy not crispy. Like a bunch of super oily chicken with mild sauce. Garbage restaurant. I'll drive past it everytime from now on.
