The cashier is rude. Claimed she couldn’t hear me so I raised my voice. This worsened her already poor attitude. Despite already paying for my meal, she held my food hostage until I went into my Uber app and confirmed that I received the food.
Now we can discuss the food. The mild sauce at this location on this evening was horrible. It tastes like a very bitter version of open pit barbecue sauce... almost as if vinegar was added to it. The type of bitter that makes your jaw clench smh. The sauce was very watery and runny. I was not able to finish my meal.
I haven’t ordered from this Harold’s in quite some time, and I don’t remember the Service or the taste of the mild sauce ever being this bad. Shame.

This place gets bad reviews, but didn't feel like going all the way to 53rd for some Harold's. The wings were perfect and fries and slaw were to be as expected. We all know every Harold's is different. Just smile through the window and you will get your chicken. Keep it simple with the $10 six wing special.

I had an awful experience with my first visit to Harolds Chicken last yr. So I was advised to try this location. It was amazing if there is one better than this i want to see it.

I waited 40 mins for my food. Staff rang up items I didn't even ask for. They had an attitude when I asked them to refund me for food I didn't ask for before I even got the food. It was very full and the lady took her slow time packing food after cook was on point. I will never go there again. Worst customer service ever.

I ordered chicken liver,cooked soft,first of all it took 50 minutes to get my order,I asked the cashier how much longer for my order ,she never looked up at me because she was playing with her phone and told me it wasn't ready yet people came in and ordered wings and other items and they received their food,when I finally got order the liver was cooked so hard,I gave them back and in return they pretended to cook them over,but they gave me the same order back with the same hard liver,awful service and I'll never recommend anyone to ever go there,and they have the nerve to have a sign saying,no refunds.

This is the WORST Harold's I've ever been to in all the life I've been in chicago. &&&& the attitudes of the two women cashiers in there serving food is unbelievable. One had on a ghetto bonnet the other was standing outside getting high. When I pulled up. And the Men cooks was cussing and acting like they was on the block instead of a place of business. My liver was fried so hard I should've went and got a bag of M&Ms instead. Never again will I eat there.

The cashier with the red hair ALWAYS has an attitude. I watched 3 different people come in and correct her for her nasty attitude. She barely says anything to you when you’re ordering and when she does, she talks very quietly/minimally. Definitely not the way to run a spot.

Extremely long wait. Was visiting from Louisiana although I lived in Chicago over 40 years. The chicken was tasty. However, the wait was over an hour long. Not sure why??.

Placed an order for four pieces of chicken for pickup at 824 via Uber eats for pick up didn't receive did until 928. Watched no less seven people who ordered in-store between 22 and 47 minutes after me get their food. Staff was incredibly rude when asked about timeline and had a young girl who appears to be under 13 years of age working the register while her mother was on her phone.

Very slow & unprofessional . Charge for sauce on side , which is dumb . I don’t want my food drenched in sauce.
The customer service is bad ! Too much Attitude over the phone . Management needs to get this in order ASAP .
