Harold's Chicken Shack Reviews

Brought in Harold's Food Truck for a private event last month and everything went smoothly! On top of that they were very friendly and communicative. Besides being a little late from a marathon happening downtown, it was exactly what our guests needed and we will definitely have them back for future events!

Harold's Chicken Shack offers tasty food that often exceeds expectations. Their 7-wing dinner is popular, with generous portions of mild sauce and lemon pepper. The chicken is cooked to order, ensuring it’s fresh and crispy. This location stands out because of its friendly waitstaff and quality food. Customers mention that the staff are accommodating, offering replacements and extras when mistakes happen. The restaurant is a favorite for visitors, especially those near McCormick, as it’s close by. The menu features fish and chicken giblets, making it a good spot for satisfying chicken cravings. The Poundcake is also praised as amazing. While the wings are popular and a bit pricey, the dark half is under $10. The small inside area has no tables, so it’s mainly for takeout, with everything served hot and fresh. Customers appreciate the quick service from the new night crew, and note that the staff seem eager to be there, with respectful and smiling employees. Some mention that the women taking orders are slow, and the cooks in the back can be slow when frying chicken. Overall, Harold’s remains a reliable spot for delicious chicken and good service.
