This place was recommended for their chicken. My husband really enjoyed it and said it was seasoned well and worth the try. Was not my jam, so I cannot say much, I had chicken fingers! Husband had thighs and legs. The juice in the jug was delicious.

Traveling from South Carolina I was very disappointed! 1st order gizzards and 2 lemons pepper wing. The fries were nasty. The gizzards were okay. I DID NOT receive the 2 lemon pepper wings or coleslaw. 2. The two chicken breast dinner! The chicken breast was salty and overcooked. DID NOT receive coleslaw in the bag. 3. Three wings dinner. The wings were salty. We did not receive any ketchup. DID NOT receive coleslaw in the bag.

Chicken strips were pretty good, wasn't told it didn't come with bread cause they were out until after we got our food and paid but we paid full price. Register lady was nice however and gave us some fries for the disappointment. We also had wanted to try the popcorn chicken but they were also out of that. Psa: When looking at the menu, bottled soda is the same price as fountain cause they don't specify. Also you pay the same price for no coleslaw as you do for coleslaw where most places give you a bit of a discount. Overall I will probably remember and come back next time I visit Chicago but may call the different locations around to get the full experience.

Food was old and random $5 charge. How is a restaurant not busy and giving out old food? Filet was soggy and soft, tasted like it was cooked hours ago and dipped in old oil. Chicken was stale and tasted the same. Fries were unflavored and soggy.
On top of that I waited 20 mins for an old soggy 3pc fillet combo ( 5 mins waiting for my food to get passed to me, I had to ask the lady if that was mine she was too busy being on the phone) The chicken was badly underseasoned and old. The lobby was filthy and the bathrooms smelt terrible so I took my food to go and seeing the ladies on the phone was hilarious.
Also woke up to see an extra $5 charge to my bank?
This last part is not on the restaurant but there was a panhandler in the front bothering me upon arriving.

Food staff and atmosphere was great. Perfect location to dine in and enjoy some great wings. Highly recommend not to wear white!!! You're definitely going to get some of that amazing sauce on you no matter how careful you are. It does come out though ? definitely will be going there again my next visit to the Windy

I'm honestly not sure why there is a lot of hype surrounding this restaurant. I wanted to like it, I really did. But it just isn't that great. The chicken sandwich was mediocre and drowned in sauce. Mac n cheese was below average. They got my order wrong too, which I understand because they were very busy. The staff were also nice. But there is a big issue that I can't really overlook. The restaurant has some major cleanliness issues. While I was there, I saw not one, but two insects that could have been roaches. I'm not sure if they crawled under the gap in the door or if the restaurant actually has a pest control issue. If I had seen the bugs before I ordered, I probably would have left. Either way, concerning. The kitchen area also looked like it hadn't been cleaned, in addition to the cold cases. Bathroom was filthy. I feel kind of bad for the staff because they were so nice. But this place needs to be fixed up. Some extra seasoning on the chicken wouldn't hurt either.
It's fried chicken, a little salty for my taste, there are pies for dessert. Very friendly and bilingual.

Fried chicken was no better than IGA chicken. Chicken sandwich was chewy. Fries tasted like fries you bake in the oven. Store was filthy. No napkins in some to wipe down our own table. No toilet paper in bathroom. Workers were not friendly and seemed miserable. Oh and they charge a 3.99% "convince fee".
