THE WORST HAROLDS IN HISTORY. NOT ONLY IS MY ORDER COMPLETELY WRONG THEY CHARGED ME FOR ITEMS I DIDN'T EVEN RECEIVE!!!! I HATE IT

I ordered delivery today from this restaurant. A quarter white. Both the chicken and fries were overcooked. Seems to me they refried it. It was terrible not to mention a waste of money.

My first time trying Harold’s after hearing so many good things, but this location here has THE WORST customer service & food. Firstly, the cashier Xayah is RUDE, COLD & disrespectful. No business etiquette at all. She made no eye contact, was rushing us to order, & talked to an employee like he was beneath her. An elder at that. Ordered catfish & wings, okra, pizza puff & I was disgusted. Fish not cooked all the way, wings were bland & smaller than a newborns hand. My okra was perfect but the pizza puff lacked quality. No seasoning anywhere. Waited 45mins for bullcrap. Avoid this location.

Very TICKED OFF!!
First off google say this location opened at 9am. I ordered food online at approximately 940ish, received text saying food would be ready by 10:10am only to get there and it’s closed. Called the number listed on their sign and the phone just rings. My order came to about $32 and some change. Why would online ordering still be allowed to go through for a business that’s not even open or functioning at this point idk what their status is. I just know I’ve been charged for something I NEVER RECEIVED and I’m highly upset about it. So unprofessional, makes me not want to eat at Harold’s Chicken PERIOD!! Definitely will be reporting this to the BBB come Monday morning!!! I want my money back!!

The girl that works there always has an attitude Or puts you on hold & doesn’t go back to the call. We tried ordering food on 2/19 at 9pm mind you on Google it says their business hours are open until 10pm. The phone was busy, after 10minutes of trying to get through the phone we decided to just walk there since we live around the block. The doors were locked with the lights off. There’s a bar next door & you can see the girl that works the front from Harold’s twerking. How embarrassing for the owner that his workers don’t care enough, close the doors to the business & prevent him from making money. Or atleast put a sign on the door that you guys close early. Owner if you weren’t aware of your employees behaviors now you do.

They let me make an order online but then were closed? Like that doesn’t make any sense. Why are y’all allowing people to make orders online if your restaurant is closed???
Walked all the way to the location and they weren’t open on time. Confirmed hours in the door, google, and website. Annoying.

I am so disappointed in the lack of care when you claim you have the “best chicken in the world”.
I haven’t been to Harold’s chicken in a few years just because I haven’t been on the west side but yesterday I was working at the United Center a 13 hour shift and I only had one break, I chose Harold’s chicken.
I get there. I wait I get my order I get back to the United Center boom no sauce on the side for my food. I don’t understand you’re famous for your sauce just because I want my sauce on the side in which you charge me to get it on the side does not mean that I should get back to work and I have no sauce on my chicken.
So I chose not to eat it. I called back. The gentleman was really nice. He said I could bring it back, but I couldn’t bring it back until my shift ended which was at 9:30. I get to Harold’s chicken. I kindly tell the gentleman what my ticket number was and what the incident was. He didn’t have a problem with it.
When I got home, sat down on my bed open that bag of chicken. It was disgusting. I’m just confused as to how you can claim. You’re the best chicken in the world when you don’t even serve quality every single time there should not be or hit or miss there should not be a moment in time where as a person is writing a bad review get yourselves together this is not fair to people who by the way going out to eat now is a luxury because I could’ve taken that $15 and did anything else with it instead of wasted on something that I valued at one time to be the best chicken in the world.
But you guys have fallen off you need to have quality product before you serve. You need to have better cooks that care and pay attention to the food that they’re serving.
I am done with Harold’s chicken at this point you guys really need to get it together if you want to save your brand. Because the way that is looking, you guys are going down in the next 5 to 10 years no one is going to buy that chicken because it’s not quality and it’s a waste of money. This is just my opinion.
I paid a little over $14 for this!!! If I didn’t live so far I would have brought it back. Why would you think that this was ok to serve to your customer. I had to pick one star or couldn’t post 🤬

I placed an order through their site and got the "your order will be ready at 1:50pm" only to get here and see boards on the windows and doors. There is spray paint that says we are open. I get out of the car and try the door, and it is locked. I am beyond pissed that the system and the owner allowed the order to go through, but we get nothing, and you have our money. The owner should have turned off the ordering system and not allowed orders to be made. We have been outside sitting in our car for 20 minutes only to see person after person, etc walk up to the door and not be able to get in. We will never come to this location again....unprofessional.
