This is the second time we've been there for a preshow dinner. It seems like they are understaffed, like everywhere else. Things take a while. The food is good and no super expensive.

After being welcomed with enthusiasm, we were taken to an excellent table. We ordered a couple of our favorite burgers from the menu (one beef and one beyond). These arrived hot and juicy, with crisp fries and suitable amounts of ketchup. Service and food were alike excellent, and we could tell from the sounds around us that we were not the only ones having a good time. All stars all round!

Great staff and food. View was good and prices were good for Chicago and decent overall. The museum included was a nice perk. Would definitely return.

Our group was four senior ladies. I had a burger (excellent), another had a turkey club and two split the chicken salad (enough for the light eaters). Our server was nice, efficient and accommodated our special requests. Despite the room being filled with teens and families, it was surprisingly quiet enough for conversation. We'll be back. Morene

Food is average at best. Restaurant closes at 7PM on Mondays and the restaurant let us make a 6:15 reservation and never communicated that they would be closing soon after. We were the only people in the restaurant and the staff was cleaning up around us.

The food and our server were good. He was nice. It seemed like everything took a long time. Looking around, it seemed like there was not enough help.

Had an incredibly disappointing experience at this restaurant. The food was overcooked to the point of being completely inedible—past burnt and downright denigrating. The burgers were subpar at best, though the pretzel and fried pickle appetizer was okay, which was the only saving grace.

The cocktails were just as disappointing—poorly made and not worth the price at all.

To make matters worse, the restaurant wasn’t even busy—there were only three other small tables occupied—and yet the service was abysmal. Our waitress, Sam B, was horrible—rude, unprofessional, and had an attitude. She hardly checked in on us the entire time, making the experience even more frustrating.

If you’re planning to visit, keep your expectations low. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Food was good, server was friendly (a little slow) great atmosphere. Make reservations, we went around 1:30 and if you didn't have reservations they were turning people away.

There are plenty of good reasons to visit the 7th Inning Stretch. The food, however, is not one of them.

Maybe you’re in town for a visit and the location is convenient. Cool. Maybe you want to grab a beer and soak in the vibe. Great choice! But if you’re hoping for a decent lunch, buckle up.

I work nearby and ventured in when my usual spot was closed. Big mistake. I was seated at sticky table surrounded by chipped furniture. But hey, ambiance doesn’t cook the food, right? Onward!

I started with coffee. Big mistake #2. It tasted like it had been brewed hours earlier, left on the warmer, and aged to perfection—if perfection tastes like burnt regret. I switched to club soda with lime. The lime? Well, it was probably fresher when it was cut. Yesterday.

Then came the burger and fries. The fries? Fine. Straight from the freezer bag to the fryer—hard to mess that up. The burger? Cooked perfectly medium rare. And salty. So salty. Any flavor the beef might have had was drowned in salt and what I can only describe as "dirty griddle essence."

In summary: if you’re there for the beer, you’re probably safe. But if you’re there for the food, hard pass.

An excellent place to visit and try something different. The food, the calamari were incredible, good wine, beer, the atmosphere was great, and to match the atmosphere; a museum with jewels that will make you remember old moments. Excellent. Totally recommended!

Was looking forward to lunch with the park district, 25 of us elderly folks in all. We sat in a small room with not much to look at, server forgot to put rolls on the table with our lack luster salads, choice of 3 entrees from the special menu. Since I do not eat chicken my only option was a plate of noodles with some sauce on it. Just tasted like a plate of noodles with sauce on it. Desert was to be a signature brownie of some type but instead we got a plate of a few cookies and a brownie that was cut in 6 small pieces that we had to share. When we asked for plates to put them on they brought us 4 coffee saucers, there were 6 people at our table. When we finally did get our rolls served halfway through our meal they seemed old and hard.
Needless to say, not the best of lunches and no thank you to visiting any of your establishments ever again.
