One of my favorite sushi spots in Chicago. Their tuna is always super fresh and the spicy tuna roll is incredible!
Great sushi spot in the neighborhood- byob and Go Tavern is right down the street.
Very average sushi and not super cheap.
Extremely slow service.
The chefs did not know how to make sushi rolls. Rice grains were falling apart, no consistency in the size, hardly felt the fish. No flavor, nothing…Felt I was eating plain rice
Very fresh and tasty. Staff was great. Would definitely go back.
Very warm staff. Food was excellent.
Our go-to sushi takeout spot. Fish always tastes fresh and quality is very consistent. A great neighborhood place.
Super yummy, chill ambience, and surprisingly affordable! I highly recommend this place. Had a great time here.
I really wanted to like this place because I live so close. And the food WAS really good, the service too. However, the place is VERY dirty. My menu was sticky and had soy sauce on it (we were the first customers of the day) the table was sticky, and the worst happened when I got down to the bottom of my tea cup and realized it was crusty with some white film at the bottom which I accidentally drank some of. Immediately ruined my appetite and at that point I wanted to leave. How hard is it to properly wash a tea cup??
Also the music was obnoxious. It was all Tik Tok songs blasting at full volume. Why? Do better. Such a tiny restaurant should be immaculate, especially at these prices. Now I know why y'all were shut down a year or so ago.
I recently dined at Haru Sushi and it was an exceptional experience! The ambiance was cozy and inviting, with a modern touch that made it feel both upscale and comfortable. The sushi was incredibly fresh and meticulously prepared. Each piece was a delightful burst of flavor, especially the shrimp tempura and Dragon roll which practically melted in my mouth. The rolls were creative and beautifully presented, with the dragon roll being a standout favorite. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, making excellent recommendations and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Overall, Haru Sushi
is a must-visit for sushi lovers looking for top-notch quality and service. I can't wait to return!

We have been going to Haru since they opened. It is now my favorite go to sushi within food delivery distance. The salmon avocado is so simply perfect. They are prompt and extremely friendly. 10/10 recommend!
Parking: Street parking until 6pm without a pass or city sticker with zone code. Paid parking on Armitage is usually easy.
Kid-friendliness: Smallish tables but a comfortable space with some background noise, good for kids.
