The atmosphere was far from being as described, it was brightly lite with no Cuban flare at all. Furthermore the food was burnt and dry. The only thing that was good were the drinks. This is little more than a bar with food. Also there was no live music or dancing as I’ve read in other reviews.

Food was really good but service felt like get in and get out. I was served water but wasn’t offered anything else to drink, was looking forward for some dessert but wasn’t offered that either. When the bill came there was a difference in paying in cash than a credit card. So carry cash.

First time going, experience was great! The atmosphere was great and the vibes were immaculate. We ordered a Cuban sandwich and Ropa Vieja. There was some confusion and the Ropa Vieja wasnt sent. No worries, we got a drink on the house! Will definitely be back.

This place is great. Only experience is lunch and happy hour, but both are fantastic. Staff is always pleasant, sandiwches are delicious, and they have a great bar selection.

Love this place! Good family restaurant vibes. Food is always dank and mojitos are strong. Vaca frita was outstanding!! Chimichurri sauce that came with the Cuban had a lot of flavor as well

I go for the spicy Palomas and the Chili Rellenos. Small, intimate restaurant right in the heart of restaurant alley on Clark St in River North. My girlfriend is obsessed. Its very authentic and never disappoints.

A real place. Comfortable and honest, a relief after so many fake, overdesigned spots. Great cocktails without pretending to be something they are not. No stupid influencers, no selfie circus, just people enjoying food and drinks. Exactly how a place should feel. Solid

Food: I got a cup of tortilla soup, which was great. Jibarito, which honestly was an awful experience eating because it was hot in the beginning so holding it like a sandwich was difficult, cutting into it just breaks apart the bananas. So you just gotta take apart the sandwich and just eat it piece by piece. Other than that the actual taste was great. And I also got ceviche which was great. Give this a 4 because I just didn't like the process of eating the Jibarito. I also got mojitos which were decent size and strong which is nice.

Service: good standard service

Atmosphere: actually loved it. Hispanic speaking servers, and Hispanic speaking huge family was sitting nearby so the atmosphere as funny as it sounds was amazing lol

We went for dinner service and seated right away. Ordered Pollo A La Caserola, and the sauce was perfect. Average wait time. Served was very kind. Will definitely be back.

Some of the best Cuban food! Enjoyed mojitos and a few outstanding dishes. Every dish we ordered was delicious, savory and bursting with flavor. The portions sizes were more than enough. It was so good, we left empty plates. Menu has a large selection of dishes.
Try the Churassco, Vieja Roja and the Cuban Pork. Closed out with coffee and the coconut flan for dessert. The staff was very friendily and attentive. Atmosphere is cozy, warm and calm. Highly recommend you stop in for lunch or dinner.
