Came in for MNF. Had the Buffalo Chicken Slider; Sweet Potato Fries with Blackened seasoning; and the wings with half mild and half garlic parm. Everything was solid. Loved the Buffalo, I’d probably get the garlic parm on the fries instead next time. Our server Dora was amazing. Very attentive and made sure our table had everything we needed. ??

Came in for 1/2 off pizzas. We come in here while waiting for family members who are at the hospital. Ordered a pizza, takes almost an hour to get.
The hospital calls back and says that we need to come back immediately, so after ordering a couple beers and spending money there we kindly ask the lady working there to pack the pizza up to go because we got a call from the hospital.
She comes back with Pizza 10 minutes later and says sorry for the delay, but we have to charge you full price for the pizza.
We asked why it isn’t half off like it says?
“Well you ordered to go last minute so you can pay full price or not take it.”
Excuse me? My aunt’s in the emergency room, pizza already took an hour, came out kinda cold and you STILL CHARGED FULL PRICE! Because we ordered it for here, the kitchen and waitress lady forgot about it and we have to get to go.
And then the lady waitress throws the receipt at us after we ask about the 50% off. Scoffs at me and walks away. It’s 9 dollars people! Cut the customer a break!
Is your restaurant so ruthless and cheap that they won’t even take off nine dollars off an order after making us wait??
I would like a refund but word of mouth works better for bad service. I hope Hawkeyes reads this; makes this right.
Already in an emergency situation and you’re going to nickel and dime your customers.

One of the most influential bars during my time in Chicago where I met important people and made magical moments after getting a text from a buddy to come out for the Chicago Bears Super Bowl on February 4th, 2007. It was cold and snowy but the social time was great!

Just Don't, a place that doesn't card and over serves minors is not my idea of a good time. Saw a girl with no ID get over served there and then leave in an ambulance when she fell out outside the bar. The bartender who didn't ID her was also the manager, just wow.
Just here to let management know that the asian-looking bartender with the bleached hair cost them a customer. Easily the worst bartender I've ever seen. Not cleaning the filthy bar, completely inattentive to the patrons, on her phone and talking with one guy the whole time while myself and the guys sitting next to me were there with empty glasses for 10-15 minutes before the other (equally as terrible) bartender had to ask me if I wanted another. Too bad.

I went for happy hour on June 27th Thursday. I had a good experience overall, but beware of scammer waitstaff. I had a $26 tab and left a cash tip of $7. Staff helped themselves to more money because $33 was charged to my card. They must have written $7 under the tip on the receipt. Watch out for these thieves!! Enjoy your $7 bc you lost yourself a customer.

During our trip to Chicago this became our go to place. We loved the food, the atmosphere but more than anything the service. Vince was amazing all week and so were the other waiters. The accommodated our needs and provided lasting memories for us. Hawkeye’s is number 1 in our book and will definitely find our way back when we visit Chicago.
