Short story, I don't need to visit here again for a few reasons. Food was ok, service was fine and wait time was fine. I am big on dining at Chicagos finest steakhouses, and I was excited to get here after seeing and hearing reviews! I'd honestly rather go to longhorn steakhouse than dine here again. The food just wasn't....right. The apps were ok, the porterhouse was cooked fine but it came out almost cold. I spent $221 on a 34oz porter house and I excepted WAY BETTER. The dessert was the best, I ordered the grand ferrero rocher. I'm disappointed the most by the fact that I kind of wasted my annual benefit on my chase bank sapphire reserve card! I booked here as a suggestion from their dining list of preferred restaurants and preferred seating. That was a waste of my credits. The server was kind and the front desks ladies were nice also!
Michael G was a fantastic waiter. Steak was delicious and nice atmosphere, staff and happy hour. Highly recommend!
The fried shrimp appetizer we got was great and the drinks were great too. 12 oz ribeye, Mac & cheese, and hash browns were just ok. There are several better options for a steak in my opinion.
Absolutely horrible experience. Waited two hours for food (which is whatever), but when it did come it was room temperature. I paid $500 for my meal, and it was cold. Not acceptable. Service was poor; waiter was nice but mostly absent. A real let down.
The drinks were ok. The oysters were real good. The steak I ordered rare and it was tough and over salted. Desert was good. I'll pass next time.
The steaks are very good. I wouldn't say any better than any other high-end steakhouse in Chicago. The sides are extremely small and very overpriced. I'm not sure how you charge $38 for a cup of lobster mac & cheese. It's also extremely frustrating that for a group of eight they only accept four credit cards for payment, I can accept the restaurant doesn't want to do a separate bill for each person, but will you simply just want to split a bill that was very expensive by a credit cards and this is an accepted. I think it's really poor service. The service seemed all a little stressful , like we were putting too much pressure on kitchen ordering so much food. I don't think I would go back. There's better options for the money and the place is so noisy.
Greeters looked like slobs. Had zero personality and were not at all warm and inviting. Got sat at the bar until our table was read. Had an overpriced drink from a female bartender who told me how would she know how it would taste she doesn't drink dairy. Our waiter was great. He was friendly helpful and made up for the beginning of the night. Food was good but nothing that made me feel like I had to rush to get back.
A must try great experience. Great service and ambulance great food. I wasn't disappointed at all!
Nice atmosphere but disappointing experience. Service was just ok, very tough to hear. Bone marrow was good but steak and fish were not up to high end steakhouse standards. Wouldn't go back
We first went to Hawksmoor last month for Sunday Roast and absolutely loved it. We returned this week for drinks and the bar food menu. The bar was almost full so we were offered a table in the dining room. We were very happy that they accommodated our request to order off of the bar menu in the dining area. We had the Filet Steak Sliders and Scotch Egg with martinis and then we had a sausage roll and red wine. We thoroughly enjoyed our “meal” of shared bar bites. We are looking forward to returning for Wine Monday, hopefully soon.

Great food and great deals during happy hour. Our server was great and made our dinner with our toddler a breeze.
The setting was great. The drinks were phenomenal. They brought us some scallops and fried shrimp appetizers on the house which were very good. As for the entree's, the lady and I ordered 2 steak entrees and 2 of the “sharable” sides. The crust of the steaks were cold to the touch but the steaks were made as ordered. The sides were quite small and overpriced in my opinion, but sides were good as well. For dessert, we were given 2 little cookies on the house which were good as well. I was a little underwhelmed with our entrees. The service was amazing. Our server was polite and very attentive, as well as the other staff making sure we had everything we needed.
First steak house where the two cuts of meat I asked for, which were on the menu, were not available, they were out of a beverage (beer) that I wanted, my wife's dinner (fish) was overcooked and dry, and the side dishes were barely enough to feed one small child. The server was a perfect gentleman, but very disappointed with what I expected to be a wonderful experience.
Loved the Sunday Roast, very authentic! Service was friendly and prompt. Martini was excellent.
Great place. Great ambience, service. Most of us had the British Sunday Roast. I expected the horseradish to be a sauce, but it was just ground horseradish. Beer selection was in cans, which we found a little odd.
