Hawksmoor was a beautiful dining experience. We started with the happy hour oysters on the half shell, which were incredibly fresh, and the house Cabernet was excellent. For the main course, we ordered the shareable 36 oz Chateaubriand with sides of mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, and sautéed spinach. The presentation was fantastic and it was easily one of the most delicious steaks I have tasted. Every bite was rich, tender, and perfectly cooked. I also highly recommend the Jumpman cocktail, which is a mezcal and tequila blend. It has a great smoky flavor that pairs wonderfully with the steak. Overall, it was an outstanding meal and definitely a place I would recommend.

We came here to celebrate our anniversary after reading about their charcoal-cooked steaks and reading how exceptional they were. Having enjoyed many great steak restaurants in the city, I was excited and hopeful this would rank among our top three. Unfortunately, it didn’t come anywhere close.
We started with the shrimp cocktail - it was fresh and the shrimp were plentiful. The beet salad was nice - it had a bold flavor with a strong horseradish kick. We both ordered the filet cooked medium, but they arrived closer to rare. The steaks lacked seasoning, any type of sear and were simply okay. Our sides included the spinach and mushrooms Diane. The server said the mushrooms were prepared gluten free but I became very ill that evening and question of the thicker sauce actually had flour.
We started with cocktails, which were surprisingly small—mine seemed only half filled. As a kind anniversary gesture, we were offered dessert, which we appreciated.
Our server was friendly and helpful when answering my allergy questions, but once our order was placed, the attentiveness dropped off. He didn’t return to our table for the remainder of the evening, and another staff member took over, making the service feel disjointed.
After spending over $500, we left feeling the experience didn’t justify the price and wasn’t somewhere we’d return to.

The service was good but bit slow. We waited for the food and apps. The place was not crowded as it was Monday night. The dessert was delicious. Burger was average. Huge but not very tasty. I loved the scallops as appetizer. The fries were bit oily and tasted fryer oil.

Great experience for a Sunday Roast!!! We've had many Sunday Roasts in the UK and this one was just as good (if not better). The meat was super tender and flavorful. The Yorkshire pudding was delicious as were the veggies. Desserts were amazing as well. The Peanut butter Louis and Sticky Toffee puddings incredible. Would highly recommend!

We made reservations. We went at 5pm, their Happy Hour which had great drink and appetizer options as well as steak fries for $25. We ordered a platter of the $2 per oysters for an appetizer and the steak fries. The food was very good. The steak was made to our requeted medium rare and very flavorful. We sat in the bar area, plenty of tables, and really enjoyed the ambiance. We will be back

My son and I came in Friday February 28th for the 5-6 happy hour. Berto was our waiter. He throughly went over the menu and gave me ideas for another visit. He was perfect the way he came by not to much, but enough to let us know he was there for anything we needed. I told the wife and a few friends of the restaurant, but definitely his service. While this was first time coming, it's definitely not the last. I just hope Berto is there.

We came here to celebrate a birthday and it was fantastic! The Vietnamese oysters were some of the best I’ve had anywhere, and the steelhead tartare was so refreshing. Funnily enough, my steak was overdone but it still tasted perfect! Kudos to the chef for that. Cocktails were delicious and our server Heather took serious consideration to our allergy concerns with a supportive management & busser team behind her. We will be back for sure! Thank you Hawksmoor!
