There is no worse help in the universe. Took 10 mins to get seated. Then 20 to have order taken. I'm still sitting here 40 mins later waiting for my nacho appetizer. They Actually CLOSED the kitchen

Breakfast restaurants with vegan options that aren't just oatmeal are hard to come by. Heartland doesn't just have vegan options, it has an entire vegan (and gluten free) menu! My favorite dish is their buckwheat pancakes with banana and chocolate chips baked inside. I've also had their cappuccino with oat milk before, which is also very good! Nice spot for local vegetarians/vegans - not really something to travel to from across the city. Healthy menu but pretty basic. Although bison chili is pretty damn good.
