As we were eating our Gyros there was no conversation. It has been years since we were able to have Hella's Gyros. So when we saw they had a location where we could order their food we called for pick up and traveled across town hoping it tasted the same. YES, IT WAS STILL AMAZING! Holy Tzatziki sauce Batman! Hand down the best Gyro in the city! Just the way I remembered and I look forward to returning! To the owner...your customer service deserves 5 stars alone. I have determined Hellas Gyros deserves a 2.25/5 rating. The food was delicious and promptly served to us. However, the employees lacked professionalism, and adequate training on how to greet and treat costumers. If I choose to eat at Hellas Gyros in the future, I would order take – out, to ensure I have a pleasant dinner without witnessing employees arguing, yelling and cursing at one another. Furthermore, I will check the bill before paying to ensure it is accurate.

Worst place ever! Food is literally horrible, I ordered ribs and what I got was a piece of shi*. Also other food is sooo disgusting, my friends were also disappointed, like food for dogs. I almost trow up. Don't ever order food from here if u wanna eat good quality food.

It's sooo unsanitary! If anyone has the chance take a look in the kitchen. Flys are everywhere! Everything is just dirty! The food is thrown in freezers and they don't even care how it's placed.

Order thru Uber eats order was incorrect and cold talk to restaurant man wanted to argue with me after I explained my order was wrong,they resent after waiting for 2 hrs refused a refund .Never will I order frm them again
This place often has absurd wait times despite having thoroughly average food. Prices have risen while quality has fallen over the years. More importantly though, this restaurant has failed many food inspections with a litany of health violations.

I have lived in the Edgewater area around from them for over twenty years but lately their quality of the food has diminished while their prices have more than doubled.I guess you to pay for remodeling by passing the customer but does the quality have to leave also.This evening after not having a great appetite because of the flu, I thought that I would try eating there but while my partner was looking at the menu we realized that they were charging us for the onions, tomatoes, sport peppers and also the cucumber sauce. We didn't ask for extra anything. I have never had to pay for those items before.Needless to say even though they're just a half block from me I will never get anymore food. This is the last straw. The owner's son is running the place and making the regulars go somewhere else.

Don't order through the website. No food showed up for two hours. When I called supposedly driver left 20 minutes ago. When I called half an hour later they lost our order. Took it again and told us it would be another 40 minutes.

I placed a order for delivery and an hour and a half later still no food. I called the restaurant to see what was going on with my order and got no answer I called back a couple times and was finally able to talk to someone and was told that my food was stolen and it would be an additional 30 min. Don't know what the issue maybe poor management but I will no longer give this establishment any business from me.
