Hero Coffee and Bagel Bar

The staff is really awesome here. We came in this morning and the store was having some technical difficulties but they were super nice and accommodating. We’ll definitely be back!

My friend and I stopped by for coffee. It was great coffee and the people were really nice! At first they messed up our order by giving us 12oz instead of 16oz cups but they quickly rectified the problem and offered us free drinks which is why I definitely come back here and highly recommend you try them out. Loved the atmosphere too :)

Love the food, Gentlemen who didn’t even serve me asked me to leave at 3 on the dot after I ordered my snack. Would have taken me less than 2 minutes to scarf. That’s not how to treat folks who pay 10 bux for a bagel, that supports your pockets buddy.

WHY IS IT SO LOUD IN THIS COFFEE SHOP. THIS IS A CAFE NOT THE CLUB. LITERALLY HAVING TO SCREAM TO PUT MY ORDER IN. aside from that this place’s bagels are fire. Reason i keep returning. But the staff needs to understand it’s a chaotic atmosphere.

The coffee is a little expensive but good. Everyone is friendly, and they have some neat murals on the walls. They play the music a little loud if you're looking to get some work done, but it would be a good place to meet friends to catch up.

Just discovered this place and WOW I am glad I did. Iced lattes are always consistent and tastes amazing each time, food is made fresh, always hot and tastes amazing. Prices are comparable to Starbucks but the quality here is significantly higher. I have been looking for a good bagel in Chicago and think theirs are great!

I just got done with my first session of Physical Therapy across the street, and wanted to give this place a try……
Never ever!!!!
I literally saw the cashier ( young guy ) on July 1st at around 9;30ish blow his nose with a napkin, look me in the face, and say “ how can I help you“ crumble the napkin , and touch the register!!!!
OMG!!!!!!!!!! The looser couldn’t even have the courtesy of at least washing his hands!!!!!!
I will make sure to never ever walk past that pathetic place!!!!
And I will make sure St Joseph hospital knows, to wear masks, and gloves if they go there!!!!

Good cold brew and tasty bagels. They have sugar free and vegan options. The place has a cool vibe/decor and the tables are large with plenty of space to work from if you need to spread out your laptop and your food. I do agree with others that the music is loud sometimes. Just a bit lower volume would be great. Overall really cool spot.
