Says it opens at 7am, usually never the case. Every time I want a coffee this place is always closed.
This cafe likely caters to the business people who work in the complex because the cafe is tucked away in a corporate building. The coffee was good, but the atmosphere was lacking. They served the espresso in a paper cup rather than a typical espresso glass. +1 for them selling their coffee and donating $1 to a local charity. I will try another location and likely enjoy it more.
The Jackson St location is for take-out coffee drinks (& bagels) only, a service window at the end of a short alley, with outside seating only, friendly staff, interesting seasonal drink options. There's another location a few blocks away (on Dearborn) that has indoor seating & an expanded menu, with baked goods from Spoke & Bird.
Awesome coffee and people
Super cool but very hidden. I dig the style. It's very OG compared to all the other modernized cafes around. I forgot what it was that I tried, it was like a mexican sort of coffee. Idk, but it was extremely satisfying. I have yet to come here on a rainy morning. I'll be looking forward to that.
Great location to meet with friends. Certainly worth going back to. Prices that won't break you.
Super appetizing. It has a good feel to it. I can see why they have so many good reviews.
Great coffee! Glad we stopped in
Good coffee. Good service. Got a medium roast drip and I really liked it.
Great coffee, great atmosphere

great place to get a bite to eat and chill!
A perfect neighborhood gem! If you love local coffee, Hero is the place for you. The shop is cozy with a great variety of roasts, knowledgeable baristas and bites. Whenever I pop the staff always has great recommendations for me to try. If you're a decaf drinker like me, try the decaf latte with caramel. My favorite bagel is the the Manhattan (cream cheese, ham, bacon, cheddar cheese, and I have it on a jalapeño bagel) Ambiance 5/5 Food 5/5 Coffee 5/5
Had the gingerbread latte and didn't like it much. I love the ambience and layout of the place.
I asked for a Mocca and I just taste the milk, no coffee no chocolate. also it wasn't hot. really disappointed with this coffee shop since I was looking for it because another location is closed right now
Nice selection of drinks and the folks working the counter are very friendly and engaging.
