Every time I come to Hexe Coffee Co, I’m greeted with a smile. The staff are so genuinely friendly that it feels like catching up with old friends. I love grabbing one of their lattes and pairing it with a fresh pastry from their bakery , everything tastes homemade and full of flavor. On nice days, the outdoor seating is perfect for enjoying the sunshine and people-watching. Whether I’m stopping in for a quick pick-me-up or settling in for a slow afternoon, it’s always a pleasant experience.

I almost never leave a bad review… so this hurts but for this one I had to. Unfortunately, I just had one of the worst breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had this morning. I got a sausage egg and cheese on a biscuit and the sausage was almost as hard as a rock. The biscuit is huge and dry. I took it for carry out and was already on my way to the suburbs by the time I took a bite of the sandwich… honestly felt like the worst $12-13 I ever spent. My coffee was delicious as always. I don’t think I’ll ever try the food here again. Disappointing.

Very cool atmosphere, lots of indoor and outdoor seating. The patio is certainly a highlight of this coffee shop. Excellent spot for cyclists, dog walkers, etc to hangout outside. Some of the best coffee I’ve had in Chicago which is why I continue to come back. They also have very cool merchandise available!
