I like that they have games you can play. The pizza is quite good. Do not order the buffalo chicken sandwich unless you want to be perplexed and slightly disappointed. Great service, though

Affordable drinks, tasty bar food with veg options, great staff, and HOT DICE. Kitchen is shared with the Dante's Pizza next door, so you can order from both menus.

I love how small and cozy this place was but still felt super casual. Great & affordable drink options, plus where else can you find cajun tater tots? The staff was also fabulous, particularly Aiden (sp?). Trivia was fun and can't wait to go back.

These folks have my favorite chicken wings in the world. Double-fried, tossed in delightfully flavorful but light sauce, then finished on the grill. You owe it to yourself to try them. They've also got a chill, low-key vibe, excellent taps, and stir a mean cocktail.

Happy to have a neighborhood fav back open. Friendly staff good selections. Even find new menu items to try after being a 10 plus years client.

Nice to see this old favorite open again! The bartender was great and there's an excellent variety of beer on tap! Also appreciate the USWNT match on one of the TV's :) The tots and pretzel bites are still very tasty, tho the cheese steak sandwich was a bit on the salty side for me.

Just came here with my boyfriend. The customer service was excellent. We were able to get 2 free shots with Yelp check in and they played Hip Hop all night. We will definitely be back!

Granted I don't make it over to Divis as much as I should, how had I never heard of this place?? It's fabulous! After dinner at nearby Nopalito, we were looking for a nightcap before heading home and Bar 821 nailed it. Fun ambiance, not too crowded, and a glowing cocktail selection.

This place doesn't look like much from the outside but don't judge a book by its cover. Very spacious indoor area with pool table and shuffleboard. The wings are top 5 in the city. They are continuously changing up their draft selection and always have unique beers I don't see at other neighborhood bars.

There are plenty of bars in Chicago, well over a dozen I would say. You'll find much of the same at these places: some beer, maybe some tasty drinks, some food if you're lucky. But it's not very often that you find one that just hits a home run on every single category you can think of. Beer? Plenty on tap! Drinks? Deliciously crafted cocktails! Food? Delectable! Add in a stellar staff, a pool table, and plenty of great events such as karaoke and trivia, baby, and you got yourself a CHICAGO INSTITUTION. We love you High Dive, never change.

Is okay, nobody goes there, actually has a pretty good buffalo chicken sandwich just not a night out type of vibe.

Excellent bar food. Comedy show and $6 burger every Thursday

It is very simple: you come here, you sit down and you order the High Diver Special. Get some wings, get a beer, get a shot of whiskey and all your problems fade away. Zero judgement establishment. Pool table. Indoor plumbing. 4 walks and a functioning roof. What is not to love?

3 stars because of the terrible bathrooms. Posting a photo to encourage the owner to renovate.

Best bar in Chicago. Karaoke on Friday and Saturday by the best KayJay in the city (@popupkaraoke) makes this place a gem!
